"zachs there.." jonah says
"what?!" i say
"he got into a small car crash.." he says
"is he okay?" i say
"yeah, we were there yesterday and he only broke his finger i think" he says
"just his finger?" i say "how-"
he shrugs "luck i guess, the other car got it more"
i just stay silent, we get to the car and he starts driving off
we get to the hospital, the person behind the desk tells us where zach is. we start walking to the room and we get to it. jonah opens the door and zachs just laying on the hospital bed on his phone. his finger is in one of those small cast things
zach immediately looks at me
"ava?" zach questions
"it's been a week retard" i say
"are you still mad at me.." zach says
"no" i say "even though the prom..nevermind."
"i'm sorry" zach says
"it's fine- it's been past a week i'm over it" i say
"but that was your first prom! like- i feel like such a dick" zach says
"zach just forget about it she's fine" jonah says
zach sighs, i walk over and sit on the chair next to him. jonah steps out of the way as the nurse walks in
"okay zach, you're good to go back home! you're healthy" the nurse says
"good. sleeping in a hospital is terrifying" zach says
"everything is paid for, you guys can just leave!" she says "bye! and be careful"
she walks out, zach gets out of the hospital bed and looks at his finger
"this shit sucks" zach says
"hey we both got in crashes" i say
"wha- you got in a car crash?!" zach says
"no- the plane i was in had a rough landing" i say
"are you okay- are yo-" zach starts
"i'm fine" i say
"good" zach says
