The Bionics I Never Knew I Had

I welcome the darkness to me and before I can fully be overtaken I hear a loud familiar voice scream.

"Charlie! No!"

Bree's pov

I watch as Micheala paces back and forth against the ceiling mumbling under her breath about how we could've gotten there sooner.

"Micheala, we know that this seems bad but look on the bright side CJ put a stop to Marcus and Sebastian." Douglas says trying to calm her down.

Micheala's head snaps towards his at a alarming speed before she speeds to him grabbing his neck as shoving him against the wall.

"The bright side, you've ruined my view of the bright side by what you did to my brother. You filled his mind with hate and nothing but revenge fills mine." She states her grip getting increasingly tighter.

I make eye contact with Douglas and he gives me a signal and I walk behind Micheala and use a syringe to sedate her.

She falls limp in my arms and I walk her to a spare capsule and put her into to it.

I look around and see Adam and Chase consoling each other and Leo looking out the wind towards CJ's quarter.

"Guys I really tried to get there as fast as I could." I say trying to lighten the mood.

Leo looks over and says, "CJ knew what needed to be done but also knew what using two of her bionics could do to her chip."

Douglas looks up at the mention of her chip.

"I have something to say the only reason CJ has bionics is because her mom and I were together when she was born. Though the day she was born her mother died and her heart was failing so I made her a special chip that's kinda like life support. I then realized I couldn't keep her a put her so I put her on the doorstep of one of my high school friends. The chip only thing in her body that keeps her alive. By her using two bionics and overloading the chip it could cause the chip to loose its primary function and causing her death."

This new news rattled everyone and that's when we noticed that Micheala's sedative had worn off she was staring at Douglas with what could only be described a mix of murderous and betrayed facial expression before she took three threatening steps towards him with him taking steps backwards at the same time.

"So what you're saying it that I can trace you to being the center of all of my issues. You ruined my brother. Ruined me. And are responsible for the only person I have ever loved death." Micheala says to him.

She looks around at all of us in the room and says, "I can't be here right now."

She then speeds out of the room and out of the school in a direction I've never been before.

"Should one of us follow her?" Adam asks everyone in the room.

Before anyone could reply rapid beeping came from one of the machines CJ was hooked up too.

"This was exactly what I was afraid of happening," Douglas starts "She's flatlining."

That sends everyone into panic and we scramble around passing Douglas all the materials he was asking for.

This process continued on for a few minutes until all the beeping seized and one long drawn out one filled the room.

At the sound we all freeze and look down at the bed where a beautiful angel lay one with death now.

The beep is suddenly replaced with a chocked sob coming from the doorway.

We all turn to look and Michaela is standing there eyes locked on CJ's closed ones.

She walks toward the bed and grabs Charlottes hand.

"No, it can't end like this," she starts in a whisper which quickly escalates in volume, "You can't leave me to Charlie you promised."

"You promised."

I walk over to where she stands reaching out a hand to console her before I'm sent flying across the wall and a loud screech fills the air.

"This is because of you," Micheala starts before turning the Douglas.

"And you," she states taking a large breath, "I've lost everything I ever cared about because of you."

"My brother, mom, and now the only person who loved me the same unconditional way I loved them." She says how in hysterics with everyone attention entranced on her.

"You can't ever let me be can you?" Her rhetorical question fills the air.

"Every time I find happiness it's your mission to destroy it. Well I know how to fix my problems get rid of the source of them." She makes eye contact with me before zooming across the room grabbing Douglas' neck.

"You are the sole reason I can't be happy. So I'm never gonna let you do the same to any one else."

She has Douglas' neck in her hands holding him against the wall.

"Besides what you always told me was ," she says before looking at him with neon green eyes, "If you can't fix your problems kill them."

"Really M, I thought I told you to work on our emotions." A voice says making everyone freeze in place.
