12 year old Vysein Jyserc sits in the living room of his home, awaiting the arrival of his friends. His many friends were coming over to celebrate his 13th birthday, going by human traditions. It was actually Vysein's wriggling day and he is turning 6 sweeps. But, he and his friends are on earth, so, according to Kanaya, they should get used to following human holidays and stuff. The door bell rings and Vysein stands. He opens the door to see multiple of his friends standing there, holding boxes wrapped in pretty colored paper. Everyone walks in and sits in the living space, but Vysein notices a certain sea dweller missing.
