"Happy Birthday Vysein!" A group of friends yell. Vysein smiles sweetly, moving some of his black hair out of his face. "hAPPY B-dAY vY!" Lyhiro yells, tackling Vysein with a hug. "<()-Thanks LΨ, thanks ΣvΣrΨonΣ -()>," Vysein says. "WHEN ARE WE GONNA BE DONE WITH THIS EXCUSE OF A GATHERING?" Karkat asks, earning a hit in the back of the head. "Kk, just waiit a liittle longer. Thiink of iit thii2 way. II'm here two," Sollux says. ":3< Come on Sollux, Karkitty, try and have a good time, we're trying to make this party purfect," Nepeta says.

"<()-It doΣsn't havΣ to bΣ pΣrfΣct I just want to spΣnd time with my friΣnds-()>," Vysein says. "tHaT's ReAlLy SwEeT vY," Gamzee says before taking a drink of Faygo. Terezi sniffs and smiles widely. "I SM3LL SOM3TH1NG, D3L1C1OUS," she says looking towards the kitchen of Vysein's hive. "BUT," she continues,"BURN1NG." "Ly: oH!!!!! tH3 CAK3!!!" Lyhiro yells, dashing towards the kitchen. She comes out a minute late with a cake. "______, yOUR FAVORiiT3 Vy," she smiles bringing it over and sitting on the table in front if the birthday boy. "<()-Thanks LΨ-()>," he smiles, earning a smile back.

"CAN WE LEAVE AFTER EATING, WHATEVER THAT EXCUSE OF A BIRTHDAY DESERT IS?" Karkat asks. "Ly: h3Y!!!! ii WWORK3D HARD TO MAK3 THAT!!!" Lyhiro yells angrily. "WhY dOsEn'T eVeRyOnE sToP fIgHtInG aNd JuSt ApPrEcIaTe ThE mArIcLeS," Gamzee says looking to Karkat then to Lyhiro. Karkat sighs and sits back in his chair and Lyhiro just sits next to Tavros. "C4N W3 34T TH3 C4K3 NOW?" Terezi asks leaning towards the food. "<()-ΨΕah surΣ-()>," Vysein says. Nepeta walks up and uses her claws to cut the cake. Everyone gets a piece and begins to eat.

Vysein looks at the clock. '<()-Where is he?-()>'He thinks. "You okay Vysein?" Feferi asks looking over, with worry in her eyes. "<()-ΨΣah, I was just hoping to sΣΣ-()>," Vysein pauses sighing. "You were hoping to see Eridan weren't you?" Kanaya questions. Vysein nods.

-After the party-

"FINALLY, WE GET TO GO HOME," Karkat says. ":3<Karkitty, your still being very mean," Nepeta says crossing her arms. "YEAH, WHATEVER," Karkat mumbles. "Look on the briight side KK, we don't have to do thiis agaiin for another year," Sollux says smiling. "Ly: oH WiiLL YOU GUYS JUST SHUT UP WiiTH THE HARSHN3SS FOR ONC3!" Ly yells before walking out. Everyone leave and Vysein walks up to his room. A little while later there's a knock on the door. Vysein looks out his window and smiles, before dashing down the stairs.

He quickly opens the door and smiles brightly at Eridan. "Hello, VVy," Eridan says," Happy birthday." Eridan holds a small box in his hands with a blue ribbon on it. "<()-HΣΨ Σridan-()>," Vysein says,"<()- comΣ in-()>." The two sit in the living room, talking and laughing. "Sorry, I couldn't make it in time for the party, I was tryin to finish your gift," Eridan says. "<()-Finish?-()>" Vysein questions. Eridan hands him the box. Vysein runs his fingers over the ribbon before gently open the box. He takes out the wool scarf that's inside. It's mostly purple, but has black diagonal lines and his sign on it at one of the ends.

"<()-Ψou madΣ this?-()>" Vysein says smiling. Eridan nods. "I, knoww it isn't much, but," Eridan doesn't even finish his sentence before he gets hugged by Vysein. "<()-It's pΣrfΣct. Thank Ψou Σridan-()>," Vysein says. Eridan hugs Vysein back. "Um... No problem VVy," Eridan smiles slightly. Vysein wraps the scarf around his neck. "<()-It's soft-()>," he says smiling sweetly. "You know, not to sound weird or anythin, but, you have a really, cute smile," Eridan says. A purple blush covers Vysein's face. "<()-Uh... Thanks Σridan-()>," he says.

Eridan blushes slightly as well. "So, um. I was wonderin if... Uh," Eridan says looking away. "<()-ΨΕs Σridan?-()>" Vysein asks. Eridan takes a deep breath. "I was wonderin if you'd go out with me?" Eridan questions. His face is a deep shade of purple. Vysein smiles, blushes nervously and gives Eridan a kiss on the cheek. "<()-SurΣ fish boΨ, I'll go out with Ψou-()>," he says. Eridan smiles. "Happy birthday my little guppy," Eridan says hugging Vysein. "<()-Thanks Σridan-()>," Vysein smiles. They share a sweet kiss before walking out the door, hand and hand.
