I went to a West African restaurant and I chose some of the food Moskii talks about her book My Story Untold (a really interesting story - do check it out if you haven't read it). Moskii you might be able to explain these dishes better than I can.

The plantain on the left was fried and very yummy. The dish in the middle was delicious as was the rice. I didn't try the salad.

On the left is Fufu. It had a very interesting texture and was easy-to-eat. On the left was a type of curry(?) that had a sardine flavor.
