Emma and Adele were the last to leave when Adrien... I mean Mr Agreste stopped them. Once hearing his voice she didn't know what to say. A hey Dad or a what a coincidence turned into what her mother called a combination of words.
"Hey! What dad coincidence?"
Both her best friend and father had given her a weird look before she realised what she had just said. Before she could correct herself Mr Agreste spoke.
"Well I see you react just as well as your mother." Mr Agreste had spoke to break the awkward silence.
"Heh... I guess your right"
Silence filled the room and Adele decided to be the best friend she was and ditch Emma. She backed away ever so slowly and as soon as she reached the door, she turned around and bolted straight for the cafeteria. Emma will so get her back one day.
"Is that why you were so happy about today being my first day of school", Emma stated wanting the awkward tension between father and daughter to fade.
"What do you mean?", Adrien said like he didn't know what she was talking about.
"You know what I mean Dad!"
"To be honest no"
"Ugg... so dense"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
Mr Agreste didn't want this to go on. She wanted to get to the point but that was interrupted by a knock at the door. All eyes were on Hugo. He wanted to drop by his Dad and ask him to go down to Maccas (McDonalds) and get some nuggets and a kids meal (just to get the Ladybug and C(h)at Noir action figures.
"Hey Da- Sis! What are you doing here?", Hugo said with a confused look on his face.
"What does it look like I'm doing... eating lunch!"
"Errrr... maybe"
The children's father snickered which caused all four eyes to lay on him.
"What? Basically she is here because I am her teacher for the rest of the school year", Mr Agreste said bluntly.
This time it was Hugo's turn to snicker, "Ohh... you are SO lucky Sis", he said and walked away towards the cafeteria forgetting about ordering his food.
"You know, I-It's actually really weird that my own dad is my teacher", she said remembering that his fa-dad never liked his children saying "father" as he didn't like them being so formal on him.
"I know, but look on the bright side which is everywhere, I can help you with homework and you'll be the brightest in the class.", Emma's dad stated with a grin.
"Yeah, I guess your right. There really IS nothing to be scared of", She responded while embracing him in a hug.
"See you soon", He said once she realised him and she left feeling happy not awkward.
Once she arrived in the Cafeteria, she spotted her best friend sitting with two other boys opposite her. Once she had a better view of them she remembered them from her class.
"Hey, Em!", Adele said with a grin on her face.
"Hey! Wait I need food, you don't want me picking food from your plate.", Emma replied while walking to grab food.
After coming back she sat down and began talking to the two dudes. One of them was obviously a gamer from his hoody saying "Lazar" on it. Emma knew exactly where that came from. It was this gamer that her youngest brother watches everyday and keeps on chanting his song. Anyway, the other wore a beany because he thinks his hair sucks but doesn't want to shave it off because his head is going to get cold. Irrelevant but anyway, once making small talk, Emma noticed that Hugo was being an idiot by hitting food at his friends but then she found him whispering to his friends about something. She shrugged it off and continued to eat until she felt something on her back. Emma yelped in surprise but only realised that it was Hugo.
"Leave. Me. Alone", Emma became furious at his older brother. He had a peaceful first year at this school but unfortunately she didn't.
"No", Hugo replied, just like George Pig.
At that moment all his friends surrounded her and had spoons filed with mash potato ready to fire.
"Duck!", Emma shouted and as if on que, all of them ducked under the table without question.
(A potato flew around my room)
By this, Emma didn't want to just sit their and let them have a food fight. She was going to give them a taste of her medicine. Both siblings had food in their hands ready to fire and would you believe that Mr. Agreste was on cafeteria duty. Once he saw the sight of his own children having a Food Fight, he blew up.
"Enough!", He shouted with all his might. That was it, he though he had taught his children to be responsible but 'No'.
Emma and Hugo dropped the food they were holding and stayed still until their father came and took them to the principals office not knowing what would happen next. All they knew was that the principal was their own parents teacher. The knock on the door sent shivers down Emma's back. Meanwhile Hugo was used to this but he never thought that he would end up being in trouble by his own father. Once they had reached the front door, the two nervous children's father knocked on the door. That had sent shivers down Emma's spine not only from how loud the knock was but what she realised she had gotten herself into. Her mother had told her countless times to 'watch how you react to things', but of course she wasn't thinking.
"Come in", a lovely voice came from the other side of the door which made the nervous children stop what they were thinking and brace their selves. "Oh, Mr Agreste. I see you have brought your children to see me", the principal said with a smile plastered across her face. Adrien just sighed.
"Yes, I have but it isn't exactly how it seems." Mr Agreste said with a frown.
"Oh, how so?"
"These children of mine began to have a food fight with each other in the cafeteria. Please excuse them of their behaviour, they aren't usually like this", he said, still furious to the fact that his own children had been acting like monkeys.
"Ok then. At what state is the cafeteria now?"
"A mess", Hugo added in.
"Well, I expect this to never happen again. For now, you may be excused for the rest of the day", The schools principal said with a tone of voice that did not want to deal with monkeys for the first day of school.
Meanwhile, Adrien was on the phone with his own wife asking her to pick up their children ASAP.
"Yes, yes. I will pick them up as soon as possible"
"Now, please"
"Alright, I'm ironing your shirts. Unless you want creased shirts tomorrow", and with that she hung up.
That's it for today. THANK YOU for being patient with me. I mainly read and edit stories, but I write other stories as well. Hope this was a good chapter and I will update shortly. (me on the inside: WhY YoU always lYiNg)
