Giselle's pov
I opened my eyes, as I realized I was laid back in a hospital bed, I had IV's in my arm, and I was hooked up to a breathing machine. I checked my surroundings, and noticed plenty of "Get Well." balloons and flowers and teddy bears. I also heard talking, I looked to my left and saw my mom and Daniel talking. It looked like they had both been crying. I know, they were too busy talking to realize I was woke. I looked down at my belly and sighed, I signed at the fact that I really wanted this baby, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
"She's woke.." I heard Daniel say, as he ran over next to me. I looked him in his eyes, as my mom followed behind, and grabbed my hand. "Are you feeling okay?" Daniel asked, I shook my head 'no' . In reality, I wanted all of this to be over. I just wanted my baby, and to give her a wonderful life that I never had. I wasn't hurting physically. The pain had came away from my stomach. All the pain was in my heart, to know that I was going to be able to have this baby and cherish all the moments I would've had with the baby. The doctor walked in, and smiled. His smile pissed me off. I know you think it's crazy, but the way I feel right now, shouldn't nobody in my presence be smiling, right now.
He looked at the machine and realized I was breathing regularly and took the mask off my face. I took in a breath of fresh air.
"Well, ma'am.. I'm sure that you know, you had a miscarriage." He said,
"Yes, I know." I said, wanting him to get to the point.
"Well, after the process of that.. Your breathing began to come in and out. To the point, where we thought you wasn't going to make it. That's why I came in smiling, because you're a survivor." He said, smiling.
"Oh, thanks." I said, I was thankful of this, because it could've been a lot worser.
"You're welcome to go home, whenever you're ready." He said, before he hugged everyone, then he unhooked everything and left out the room.
"You ready to go home, baby?" My mom asked.
"Yes, " I said, Daniel helped me out of the hospital bed. I went into the bathroom and got out of that ass-revealing hospital gown and put on my clothes. I looked in the mirror. My hair looked a mess. My fiery red hair was now dull and burgundy looking. I left out the bathroom and linked arms with my mom and Daniel.
