Chapter Three

Do you know that moment when you feel like you will be able to overcome the pain but it gets worse, well that's what is happening to me now. Keith has decided to ask Lindsay to go with him to prom in front of me. Though it wasn't special but it still hurt because I wanted to go with him

Three days from now it will be prom and I have no date. You must be wondering that why can't I just he any guy to go with me since I'm Ryan, well let me tell you why.
Numerous guys have asked me out but I've turned all of them down because I don't want to go knowing that Keith and Lindsay will be there.

Well, prom will worry about itself now let's focus on the matter at hand which is me revealing my past on air. I want people the real me, the girl who has suffered but still smiles as if nothing ever happened.

"Are you ready, Ry?", asked my best friend Ky as we entered the studio to be welcomed by Destiny and her mom who was the one carrying out the whole interview." Yep, besides I was born ready" I replied while smiling at her.

After few minutes, I was now live on air." Good afternoon to you all my favorite listeners, well today we will be talking about a sensitive topic which is rape. And for that particular topic we have Ryan Angel Ransford who will share with us her story", she spoke calmly and I just smiled at her.

" You see, she's not just Ryan but the daughter of the well-known lawyer in the country, Trinity Ransford and the late legendary Euan Ransford. She's also a student at Black Hole High and she's my daughter's friend. Welcome to Blue FM, Ryan", she spoke and her voice was so comforting.

"Thank you, Ms Kennedy! Its my pleasure to be here, to be finally be heard after two years of keeping the pain inside", I replied while smiling at her." I really understand your agony, Ryan! Who would know it better than me,anyways kindly tell us your story the world is listening ", she spoke again and from her voice you could tell that it was paining her to talk about rape since she was also raped and Dee is a product of rape.

" As you all have heard my name now its time I tell my story. I was only 16 when I had my first ever boyfriend and I really loved him which was a mistake by the way. His name was Jake Anderson. On my 17th birthday, Jake and his friends threw a birthday party for me and that marked the end of the ever smiling and loving Ryan", I spoke and I kept quiet trying to regain my composure because my voice was nearly breaking.

"The party was great, I won't lie about that and Lindsay Anderson, Jake's sister offered me a drink and well because I really trusted her I took it. I don't remember well what happened after that but when I gained my consciousness, I was in a room with four guys and one girl, all taking turns to pleasure themselves with my body." My voice was now cracking and I could feel a big lump on my throat.

" I identified those people as Jake Anderson, Lindsay Anderson, Allen Scott, Allistar Anderson and David Williams. I had no power to fight them so I just lied there my body feeling numb. After they were done with me, Jake dropped off near my house and from that day I was scared of everything and everyone.

When my father found out about it he took my brother and went to confront Jake, not knowing that it was their last day with us. Jake and his team killed them but you know my mom she made sure that they were punished for their misdeeds. After a long struggle I managed to move on, thus moving to NYC only for Lindsay to follow me here. She's really making my life a living hell and I can't do anything about it", I finished my story in tears.

I noticed Ky was roughly wiping away her tears, Dee was just looking in space and Ms K was sobbing quietly. " Well, you have heard her story! Right now we'll taking calls", she spoke. And after few minutes a call came through and the person who spoke caught me off guard and left me shocked and feeling guilty.

I guess you now know the person and if you don't them you will find out pretty soon though I think its obvious who called." Hello, I'd personally like to apologise to Ryan, I know I've been a jerk and I didn't listen when you tried to explain things to me! I'm really sorry, Cupcake and thank you Blue FM for allowing to apologise and well for carrying out this interview otherwise I was going to stay in the dark", just like that he ended the call.

I was beyond the word shocked. I mean its Keith Jenner we are talking about, he basically apologized to me on air and all my school mates will know that its him because they know he's the only one who calls me Cupcake.

He just apologized and ended the call without waiting for any response which maybe because he was nervous and scared of what I'd say. After the interview, we chilled a bit with Ms K as she told us her story as well and I was grateful that I didn't fall pregnant that night and that Ky was saved from all of this though it was a girl who molested her.

" Life is really full of ups and downs! I can't believed you went through that and you are still here strong as ever", Dee commented while we were eating our lunch with her mom." Ms K is also here after she encountered the same thing and she's very successful! You just have to be strong and move on", I replied and they all agreed with me.

" well, I'll see you girls later and Ry buy a dress for prom because you are going ", she said while winking at me and we all laughed. We went back to Ky's house because I was tired to go home and well, there was the issue of prom which I'm told I'll be going to with a date.
