Chapter Five

Ryan refused to eat last night and she's avoiding everyone. By everyone I mean Ky and Dee as well, I don't know why but I'll find out one way or the other. I need to talk to her and inform her about the second and finally arrest of the bitch and her squad because somehow The Skulls managed to get them a death sentence.

So I gathered all my strength and courage to talk to her." May I come in?" I asked and she just shook her head like she was amazed or something. " you are already in, idiot", she replied and I chuckled. She's so damn gorgeous and she's still in her PJs which consists of black short shorts and a tank top that end just on her thighs.

"Oops, sorry", I said and I was apologising for entering without knocking but for the fact that she caught me staring at her thighs." Its okay, what's up?",she asked while looking anywhere but my eyes. Why is she avoiding my gaze? I thought but again its okay for now.

"Listen, Ryan I'm really sorry for the way I treated you. I was just being a completely jerk and I'll understand if you don't want to forgive me because honestly I don't deserve it not even a bit", I spoke and she finally looked at me like she was searching for something.

" You really look cute when you are nervous and I forgive you! Now tell me the real reason why you are here", she spoke. Wow. She knows me very well, this girl will certainly be the death of me.

"The bitch and her crew were arrested and the court wants you to be present during the trial but its okay if you don't want", I spoke and she just smiled at me like I've given the best news ever.

" Wow, that's pretty cool! So for how long will the case last as you know that the day after tomorrow there's prom?", she asked while looking down. I guess its because she has no date, well that makes the two of us.

"It won't be long, I guess and as for prom I also don't know", I replied and she just laughed." Its so funny how things just change and we can't control them", she said. While she was busy talking, I was just looking at her, admiring her beauty and feeling guilty for the pain I've caused her in the past few days.

"Stop thinking, you really think a lot and I know you are thinking of what happened in the past few days and you blame yourself for a mistake that wasn't even yours", she spoke again while looking at me.

" Okay, now get ready so that we leave for the court", I finally spoke. After that I left her room and went to mine to get ready because it was about time some people got to know what happens when you mess with one of our own.

Ryan's POV

At court

We have finally reached at court and the media isn't giving us break either but I'm grateful that Keith and the rest of the guys are taking care of it though Keith didn't want to leave my side for a minute.

Everyone has arrived and my mom is fighting my case with Jamal's uncle's help and I'm certain we will win no matter what. "All rise in court!", the clerk announces as the judge walks in and everyone was now standing waiting for the next instruction.

" You may all be seated", the judge announced and everyone settled down while the accused were standing in their boxes." My Lord, this is the case of the first degree murder and sexual assault between the accused Jake Anderson, Lindsay Anderson, Allistar Anderson, Allen Scott and David Williams, and the plaintiff  the daughter of a well-known singer Euan Ransford, Ryan Angel Ransford", the clerk announced.

"Mr Anderson and your accomplices, you have been charged in the state of United States of America with a first degree murder and sexual assault, whereby, you Mr Anderson and your accomplices, on the 31st of May 2017, against the arms and force of the state of U. S. A, did willfully, deliberately and premeditatedly caused the death of  Mr Euan Ransford and Ryder Ransford on the highway of St Antonio's road. Do you understand these charges?" Asked judge Judy.
