Darya's... really gone.

Hydra walked along the cove, humming a tune with her eyes duller than usual but had a brightness to them as well. She seemed relieved, at peace. Her shoulders were still tense as always (ready for an attacked) but the tune she was humming gave off happy vibes, and the slight skip in her step made her seem like she was in a good mood. Her guitar was strapped to her back, she was off to her favourite tree that she liked to play and sing at. Her eyes scanned the shimmering, crystal clear water for a while until they landed on something floating... a body?

Hydra stopped singing softly to herself and dropped her guitar onto the sand carefully. She tilted her head and started for the ocean, throwing off her boots and moving quickly. Her short hair shifted under her bright blue bandana with the wind, her underskirt beginning to drench as she neared,

Hydra soon found that it was indeed a body and her heart sank. She didn't recognise who it was but she didn't want it to wash up on the cove. At this point she was nearing chest deep water. The person's long, black hair moved with the current. Their cold, slightly blue skin signifying that they had drowned.

I'm so sorry... Hydra thought sadly. She looked around carefully, trying to see if anyone was around that could help. She didn't see anyone. It was a cloudy day and it looked to rain she supposed. She nodded to herself slightly and began paddling as she held the body with a clenched hand. She would bury this person herself... the current must have pushed them towards the cove.

Hydra soon reached the beach and sighed, pulling the cold deadweight into her arms. She looked down at the person's face and her heart was wrenched from her chest and she almost dropped the girl in heart wrenching terror. A scream was trapped in her throat and she started shaking as she pulled Darya's body to her chest, falling to her knees and beginning to sob. She'd realised what she'd done. She'd done this. She'd broken up with Darya two days prior. It'd given her peace and relief but now-

She... she killed herself. Fuck... I did this. This is my fault. If I'd never-

She stopped herself from screaming, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself before she had a full blown panic attack with her ex-girlfriend's body in her arms. She felt sick to her stomach and wanted to throw up but she knew that she couldn't... She picked herself up, still holding the tinged blue girl and walked towards her boots and slipped them on. She walked over to her guitar and picked it up, slinging it over her shoulder and started heading towards the forest.

After a few minutes of walking, Hydra finally came to the tree. Her tree. She hid here when she truly wanted to be alone... but that was a long time ago, when she was unstable and hurt. She liked it here, but she didn't need it anymore. She didn't want to go back to the past. Hydra placed Darya's body on the floor along with her guitar and breathing heavily, she began digging a hole just under the tree.

With her bare hands and after a few hours of digging, Hydra finished. It was deep, very much so and it was just above her head when she stood tall inside. She was panting slightly, having not given herself a break since she begun. She pulled herself from the hole and then moved towards Darya again. A few tears begun tumbling down her cheeks as she picked the girl up and walked slowly towards the hole. As carefully as she possibly could, she lowered Darya's body into the grave, only to be made to drop her slightly and Hydra winced.

More tears fell onto the dead girl as Hydra hoisted herself back up and onto the floor.

"I guess... this is truly the last time I'll ever see your face, huh?" Hydra mumbled, tears dropping onto her lap. "I know you hurt me... a lot. I know I sometimes seemed closed off, but please, let your spirit rest. I hope you learn from your mistakes and in the new life that may come to you in some unknown world to me... you will be a better person with a better future."

Hydra finished what she had to say and then she started filling in the grave. Once she was done, she sat in silence and cried about every moment she had with Darya. She didn't deserve to die or kill herself... she didn't deserve this. The sick feeling that once sat in her stomach came back with a bloodlust and Hydra had to run from the grave to heave into a bush. She collapsed to her knees as she emptied her stomach, starting to cry violently. There wasn't anyone to stop her from crying at this point. She wiped her face as she sobbed, pulling her knees to her chest.

By the time she'd stopped crying, it was almost midnight. She slowly pulled herself from the ground, sandy dirt covering her cloths and stumbled to get her guitar. She was going to plant flowers here and carve a farewell into the tree the day after... but it was getting dark and she was too exhausted to try.

Goodbye... to the one I once called my love.
