The song you should play is Mirror by Bruno Mars and Lil Wayne. I've cried everytime I've listened to it. So...yeah.

I threw down my backpack in my room and ran up the stairs and into the room. I slammed the door closed and walked into the middle of the room. I sat on my knees and slammed my fist onto the ground. I shut my eyes tight. I'm so guilty.

I'm so depressed. I'm so alone. I look just like them. I looked up at the mirrored walls.

"You're my only friend. You always have been." I crawled towards the one wall and ran my fingers over the glass. I ran a hand through my quiffed brown hair and looked at myself. Gosh.

I look just like my Dad. I have my Mum's beautiful smile.

"I see your sadness. I know they can understand you. If you just let your boundaries down. But you don't know how." I rested my forehead against the glass and finally let the tears flow.

"You gotta rise, I can't always be here to fall to pick up the pieces of the broken mirror on the floor. You only understand." I closed my eyes and let out a sob.

"I can only understand myself. No one else can."

■ 3 years later...

"Hey, does that sound like a good idea to you?" I readjusted my tie and ran a hand through my hair. I breathed softly and touched the mirror.

"Why did I come back? It's been 5 months and I haven't spoken to you." I closed my eyes, shook my head, and laughed quietly.

"I remember when I would sit and let the smoke cloud up these mirrors." I took out a cigarette and lit it. I took a puff and blew in the shape of an 'O'.

"When I smoked the good stuff. Now, I know I don't need to. I got a date to prom. Her name is y/n. She's a shy girl around me, but I think I love her."

"But...what if she doesn't understand me?" I said sadly, my mood suddenly darkening.

"But what if she can? Then she can love me too. Just the way I am..." I smiled at my reflection.

"She'll accept me. I just know it."

(Your P.O.V)

You were waiting for your prom date to pick you up by your front door. Just waiting for the knock. And when you heard his motorcycle you smiled widely.

"Y/n!" You turned to see your Mother holding a camera.

"Geez Mom." You whined. She smiled happily as there was a knock on the door.

"Go up the stairs, and I'll call you down like they do in the movies." Your Mom whispered. You rolled your eyes and went upstairs and stood in the hall.

"Hello Liam."

"Hello Mrs. Y/l/n. Is she ready?" You bit your lip and smiled.

"Y/n!" You took a deep breath and started down the staircase at a medium pace, letting Liam wacth you. You looked into his brown eyes and smiled. You made it to the bottom of the staircase and lightly kissed his cheek, pausing your lips there for a moment longer than you should've.

"You look...words couldn't begin to describe." You both laughed.

"Can I take a couple pictures?" You smiled at your Mom and let Liam wrap his arm around your waist and took a few pictures.

"Okay, you wanna get going y/n?" Liam asked you, smiling. You nodded.

"Thanks for letting us use your car, ma'am." Your Mom rolled her eyes.

"Call me y/m/n." You and Liam made your way to the car and he opened the door for you.

"You sure you're parents won't come here?" You asked nervously. Liam nodded.

"Vacation for a week." You nodded. You'd never met Liam's parents in your whole year of being in a relationship together. But you never talked about them, because he always seemed to tense up, and you didn't like Liam to be uncomfortable.

"Can I explore a bit?" Liam looked at you and nodded.

"Of course. Don't get lost my love!" He shouted after you as you ran up the staircase.

"I know you'll always find me!" You yelled back. You happily started opening random doors and finding rooms. You already knew Liam's room was downstairs. There was a bathroom up here, a study, and another room, which you assumed was his parents' room. But you saw a dark brown door at the end of the hall.

"Now, what's this?" You jiggled the door open to see nothing but darkness. It smelled deeply like skunk, and you plugged your nose and looked for a light swicth. The door closed and you were plunged into complete darkness. All you felt was a glass like wall, but light flooded the room two seconds later.

"Mirrors?" You whispered, confused. I touched the mirrors with your fingers.

"They looked untouched. What is Liam doing with a room full of mirrored walls? Or his parents?" You were so confused.

"I see you explored." You turned to see Liam leaning against the open doorway with an emotionless face.

"I-I'm so sorry, Liam. I just opened it, and then the door closed and I couldn't see anything-"

"Shut up." Your eyes widened at Liam's cold tone. He stepped in and closed the door. He walked towards you, looming over you as he stopped. You were pressed against one of the mirrors, scared at what Liam was doing.

"Liam...?" He put both hands on the glass on either side of your head.

"You shouldn't have come into this room y/n." You kinda noticed that now.

"I'm sorry." You whispered. He leaned in closer, his eyes growing darker, making you breath heavily, your chest rising and falling.

"This room is not for girls like you."

"Wha-"

"I mean, you aren't supposed to be in here. This is my Mum's peace room." He smiled softly and led you out.
