13 - Confession

Dahyun's POV
Yeonjun asked if I was busy and if not we'll hangout for a bit but sadly I was busy so I said maybe next time..

2 hours later..

It was already night time and all workers are packing up and going home..

"hey.."I got startled and saw Taehyung beside me.."geez!you startled me"I said"did I?"he asked and laughed"yea you did"I sais and rolled my eyes."by the way..aren't you going home by now?"he asked"I a—"I got cutted off by him"Let me take you home!"he said"what?nonono!you need to stay here,you still have works to do"I said"It will take a minute just to finish all of that"he said"well..If you insist.."I said and he smiled widely.

geez what's wrong with this kid?

I packed all of my stuffs then Taehyung went to me and grabbed all of my stuffs,I looked at him confuse.."what are you doing?"I asked"I'll carry this,you go ahead"he said and I just shrugged it off and went to his car..

mins later he put all of the stuffs in the car, I was about to open the car door but Taehyung beat me to it..

he opened the door for me and I just went in..

he's acting weird lately..

he closed the door and began driving.

"hey Dahyun, what's your ideal date?" he suddenly asked.

why is he suddenly asking me this?

"well.. um, I don't really like something big or formal. I just want a casual date like going to an amusement park or a date in a cafe. not really something expensive. why'd  you asked?" I said.

"nothing. I just wanted to know. so I know where i'll take you.." he said the last sentence silently not enough for Dahyun to hear it.

"what?" I asked.

"nothing." he answered and I just nodded.

I was pretty bothered that he's been off so once we got to my apartment I didn't go out yet instead I decided to talk to him.

"hey Taehyung..what's up with you lately?" I asked.

"huh?" He asked confused.

"well, you've been acting a bit weird lately so I thought maybe something is wrong?" I asked.

"what do you mean?" he asked me.

"well, you start being so gentlemenl-ly these days that made me caught of gauard?" I said.

then he went silent for a moment. then he spoke again.

"Isn't it obvious?" he said and I looked at him confused.

"what's obvious?" I asked..

"that I like you." he said and I froze.

he likes me..???????

then suddenly somone knocked on the car window.

"yah!are you guys planning to stay in the car there forever?"

It was Chaeyoung..

I grabbed all of my stuff and got out of the car. Then I went straight up to our apartment. Totally ignoring Taehyung.

Taehyung's POV
I watched Dahyun as she go then sighed when she was gone out of my sight.

"So are you guys a thing now?" I got startled by Chaeyoung's sudden question.

oh fk she's still here?

"h-huh? w-what d-do you mean?"I said stuttering, wtf why did i even stutter?

"What do you mean 'w-what d-do you mean'?" She said and I looked at her not knowing what to say.

"I'm just gonna get going now.."I said and drove off avoiding her as she shout at me.

"That guy really confuses me so much. They say girls are hard to understand but why are men also so hard to understand???!? geez." Chaeyoung said to herself sighing.

Dahyun's POV
I entered my apartment and went straightly to my room.

I slouched myself on the bed and closed my eyes.

I suddenly hear our apartment door open and footsteps getting closer.

then I heard my bedroom door opening.

"yah!" Chaeyoung called out.

"what?" I asked tiredly.

"what's up with you and Taehyung?" she asked and I went off gauard.

I sat up thinking about what happened just a minute ago.

"I don't know." I said. basically I didn't know either.

"What do u mean by u don't know?Taehyung is really acting weird and you also. He keep on driving u home and hanging out with you. There is possibly something going on." she said and so I decided to tell her what he said earlier.

"he confessed to me Chaeyoung-ah" I said.

"What?!" she shouted.

"are you deaf?" I said sarcastically.

"What's with the sarcasm? I meant really?? he confessed to you??" She asked and I nodded.

"Wow..I can't believe it! Your boss who you always called stupid likes you!" she said amusingly.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Can you go now? I'm going to sleep!" I said as I push her out of my room.

"I will go, just change your clothes. you don't want to wear that when you sleep." she said and laughed.

"yes mom"I said jokingly and continue to push her out of my room.

"yah!what do you mean by mom?? I'm not your mom, you know?! do I look that old to y--"

I slammed the door on her face. jeez she's loud.

I got changed to my pj's and went to bed.
