Chapter One:A Fresh Start!

I'm Amy Wilson,a 17 year old freshman at Falcon High School. Today was my very first day at this school so...that means I'm a total outcast. I'm not an extrovert but I'm not shy around people either. I'm sure everything will go well,at least...I hope so...

'Okay,act cool Amy. Don't embarrass yourself today.' I kept telling myself as I walked past a bunch of students chatting with each other about what they did this summer. I avoided making eye contact with anybody as I went to the principal's office. I gently knocked on the door and heard a muffled "come in" from the inside. I slowly opened the door to reveal a young woman (probably in her late 20s or early 30s) sitting in a chair while her hands on her desk.

"You must be one of the new students. Sit down while I get your schedule." She said and I did as told and sat down in an empty chair while I watch her shuffle through the drawers of the desk. She finally pulled out a paper of what seems to be a schedule of sort and handed it to me.

"Thank you ma'am."

"Call me Ms.Hawkins." She said,a small smile forming on her lips before I left the room. I checked my phone and realized it was time for my homeroom class with Mr.Foster. 'Room 318...second floor. Alright,let's go!'

Falcon High School-Homeroom

I scanned the classroom first before sitting down in the second to the back row next to a window. The room was filled with students talking to each other,and some are just doing their own thing while waiting for the teacher. I pulled out my favorite romance manga out of my bag and started flipping through it's pages.

"Excuse me. Do you mind if I sit beside you?"

I looked up to the owner of the feminine voice. She has raven black hair,black eyes and pale skin.

"I don't mind. It's fine." I replied and went back to reading as she sat down next to me. 'This might be my chance to make friends. But what if she doesn't like me? What she hates my style of fashion? Wait why am so nervous!?'

"What's you name?" She suddenly asked me,interrupting my train of thoughts. "My name is Ellie,Ellie Harper."

"I'm Amy,Amy Wilson."

"I didn't know you could be so serious about manga reading." She slightly giggled and I blushed from embarrassment.

"A-anyways,do you want to eat together at lunch?" I asked and she nodded happily. The bell rang and every student started to go back to their seats as the teacher walked in. 'I met my first friend! I guess this is a fresh start.'
