Chaeyoung has been diagnose and Identify her illness as a Dementia; Dementia is a a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury and marked by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning.

When Nayeon met Chaeyoung in the company, Chaeyoung was already experiencing this kind of illness. They decided to keep Chaeyoung's illness from the public so that her fans won't be worried to her situation.

Nayeon stood up and she ruffles Chaeyoung's hair "I'll get going if you need me. I'll be here for you no matter what happens" Chaeyoung looks to Nayeon weirdly "That's double meaning" she laughs "I'll take care of my health don't worry about me. I still remember you!" She smiles widely to Nayeon.
