Chapter 9

Lately Joseph is being secretive and I'm worried that, ya know he might be cheating but I mean we're mates I have his mark it's so beautiful it's a wolf paw inside of a howling wolf. But he has been so secretive and I'm worried he has been on his phone a lot and well he won't tell me why and he usually does. I'm just paranoid I guess I mean we are mates and nothing could happen right.

Josephs POV:
Skyla is worried for nothing all I'm trying to do is buy her a ring not a proposal ring not yet anyway. It's a ring that shows that I love her and that I always will basically a promise ring but it's different in the wolf world. I can't figure out which one to get though there's so many choices to pick out so I'm asking he closest friend Karizma. I hope she won't see me.

I yell to mine and Josephs mom that I'm going on a run around town I'm human form. They say ok. I go running and I stop when I see Joseph with Karizma and I run home and cry then I get up and shift and run away where Joseph will never find me but before I leave I left a note. It reads "I was scared that this would happen. I saw you with Karizma in town today and I was right. So I ran away where you will never find me where I am going and don't even try to find me. Jo enjoy you life with Karizma.  Love Skyla." 

Josephs POV:  I get home and I go to Skyla's room and I see she's not there I  find a note on her desk and I read it when I do I fall on to the floor and start to cry and her mom comes up to see what's wrong. I hand he the note and she starts crying and ask me if it's true and I said no not in million  years would it be and Karizma is waiting downstairs and well I go down and she can tell my wolf is coming out and she asks why I hand he the note and she said " oh no I wold never like you like that no offense but I wouldn't." We gotta go find her I say I need to find her before anything happens to her and so I can give her the ring it's her favorite color I tell her mom that me and Karizma are the only ones going to find her because if she happens to come back she needs someone to come home to. With that me and Karizma are off.

Skyla s POV:
I'm running far away where I'd Joseph can find me it will take him awhile. I hope he is happy with Karizma but I have to tell someone else something and I stop at Karizma's boyfriend's house and I tell him and he tells me that I'm wrong and that Joseph was taking her out to get something for someone. I then realize I made a mistake. I run home as fast as I can and I call Joseph while hugging my mother. I tell him that I'm home and that I made a big mistake running away and i told him to hurry because I have to talk to him. In 10 minutes him and Karizma are home I run to Joseph and jump into his arms and we spin and spin and he tells me that he will always love me and he would never do that to me and he tells me to close my eyes and hold out my right hand and he puts a ring on my finger and says that he loves me that he would never leave me for another girl I open my eyes to a ring with a teal center and a metal outside and his is red with a metal outside and I tell him that I love him then we have a deep passionate kiss.
