Chapter 13

After I talked it over with Karizma she told me that she was just jealous of us because she didn't have a boyfriend anymore. I asked her what happened to Blake. She told me that Blake was killed during the search for me by an outsider named Anika. I asked her how she knew her name and she said she carved it into his chest. I told her I had to go and she could tell I was mad and she stopped me before Amethyst took over and she said that I shouldn't  do anything harsh I told her well my ex best friend hurt my real one. That's when I stormed out the door and shifted. I ran to her house and "knocked on the door." And she came to it and I jumped on her I heard he scream "please Skyla don't I have Blake!"  She got me clothes and I shifted back and changed she looked amazed at how much I've changed and I said "I could say the same now hand me over Blake and I won't kill you now." She said she wanted one thing from me and it was the thing she's wanted since middle school. She wanted me to kiss her. I said "you have a mate! I can't kiss you." Then she walked up to me and grabbed my waist and she kissed me. I can't say I enjoyed but I can't say I regret it. She finally gives me Blake and I shift and she puts him on my back and I run to Karizma's and I run through the door and Karizma sees Blake and she picks him up off my back and I run out the door and Karizma screams Amethyst don't please. She called Joseph and told him to follow me and he does and he stops me before I run into the house and kill Anika. We shift back to our human form and I tell Joseph about what happened with Anika and he said "ik I can smell her on you and I know that it wasn't your fault that she did it" and I said "thank you and that's why I was gounna kill her." Instead I walked up up to the door and knocked on the door and she asked me in and she closed it. We had a conversation about my mate and she said "I can smell him on you and ik that smell anywhere you lucky duck you got Joseph." I said yeah and she asked if she could kiss me one more time and I said sure and we did it was more than a kiss is was like a really elongated kiss but not a make out session. I told her I had to leave but before I did I told her that old saying an eye for eye so I slashes her back open she said that's equivalent. I bandaged her up and left with Joseph. I told everyone what happened because they could smell her and Joseph remarked my neck to make sure that her scent didn't stick. I walked out of our room at like 2:00 in the morning and I was in black shorts and a cami and I was starting to show my pregnancy which is why Anika didn't kidnapp me  she and I talked and she said she couldn't smell them before she came to my house and seen me. So she left and I didn't tell Joseph or Karizma or anybody about it. And I'm happy I didn't.
