it was pride month.

what does that mean to someone who's closeted?

depends on who you ask,

but to san,

it's just another time to remember that he won't be accepted.

or so he thinks.

instead of making his coffee today before practice,

he decided why not at least treat himself for once and go to a cafe.

contrasting to outside,

the cafe was warm and welcoming.

he didn't have much time to enjoy it though,

still needing to head to practice,

so his plan was to get his coffee and go.

you on the other hand seemed to have different ideas.

you were on the phone with someone at the time,

almost bumping into san on your way into the cafe.

and that's when you said,

"so what if i'm not straight?"

without thinking,

san whipped his head around to look at you.

when you noticed his stare,

you gave a smile and wink before continuing on with your conversation.

san only wished he could have that kind of confidence in public,

so he decided he'd take the first step towards being at least partially out of the closet.

so he quite literally took a step so he could get to practice.

who better to tell than his group?
