...
After wishing a very busy Bang PD happy birthday greetings and dropping off my grandmother's gifts, I asked him permission to meet the trainees.
It's been a while since I have seen the rest of the trainees.
Honestly, at first it started as a chain reaction. When I first started living with my grandmother, I had no clue that our neighboring building was home to a music agency. Only when the trainees and staff started using our backyard as passageway to the rear entrance to the building, was I made aware of them.
Slowly I became used to the younger trainees to come by and have conversations with me. While some trainees saw me as their sister, some were not very welcoming. Not that it really matter to me. I was used to rejections.
Buying a bunch of snacks and a carton of flavored milk from the store downstairs, I walk towards the practice room the trainees usually use for their dance training.
As I near the door, I hide the bags behind me and peek through the door glass. The boys are all sweaty and some of them even look ready to pass out. I did hear that training is pretty hard but now that I've seen the after effect, worry fills me. I cast a worried glance towards the trainees and look at my stock of snacks.
Will these be enough? They look like they could eat more.
I was so deep in thought that I din't hear someone coughing behind me. I turn and find a man wearing cotton beige half pants and brown hoodie. A perfect jawline and a sharp nose were the first features of the handsome man that caught my attention. His hair was glowing because of the overhead lights, enlightening his features more.
His eyes were narrowed and looked at me and my bags filled with suspicion. I stand frozen in the hallway, not understanding what to do.
I am not doing anything wrong but why do I feel guilty?
"Who are you?" He asked rather harshly, making me flinch. "Why are you in front of the trainees practice room? By any chance, are you a family member?"
"yes? Oh- no! No, I'm not!" I stutter.
"Then what are you doing here? This place is not for visitors." He said, eyes narrowing further. He looked angry and something clicked in me.
"It's not like that. I'm not a visitor. I- I mean I am but-" He cut me off by lifting his hand, telling me to stop.
"Then are you here to spy on the trainees? To ogle at them? Aishh, Ahjumma aren't you too old for that? They are all teenagers! No matter how much a fan you must be, you shouldn't do this!" He snapped. His tone increasing with every sentence of nonsense he was sprouting.
My jaw dropped in disbelief. Is this man really calling me a pervert? I came to ogle at the trainees who were like my brothers? Wha...
"What?! Ahjumma?!," I exclaim in disbelief. "How can sprout such nonsense from your mouth? Tch, what a waste to your handsome face. You really have no manners."
"See! You aren't even denying it, are you!" He says. "Now, accept it. I am right, yes?"
I close my eyes to control my anger before opening them. "Listen, you...jobless person. Those trainees in there are my friends- No, they are like my brothers. I came here to give them some snacks so they can rest from their training."
"You actually want me to believe that? And, what? Jobless person? Do you even know who I am?" He said, his ears getting red.
"Hoseok-ah, stop it"
We both turned around to see PDnim standing in the end of the hallway. Behind him was SeokJin-ssi.
"PDnim. Jin Hyung" said the handsome but rude person in front of me, looking at them in surprise and a little lost.
