Poem #1

Glimmering eyes,
breathtaking smiles,
dishevelled thin lines of hair.
Oh, thy skin is also fair.

First sight, nothing still to pursue.
Days later, rainbow's forming, was it 'cause of you?
Tried to back away from the truth
but feelings chased— chased to ripen the unsweetened fruit.

The tree then grew
like a flower in total bloom.
Passion swiftly blew
between us two.

Lately, our dissimilarity blossomed.
Problems thick as frozen ice risen.
Hard decisions were taken.
Then we slowly got broken.

Nothing else more was left to be fixed.
Faded to the blissful days— will be missed.
Decision? Each other to get rid.
Now I with no doubt say, love is indeed a dangerous place to seek.
