Katya's POV
I pull up in front of Trixie's house and shoot her a text letting her know I'm outside. As I wait I take in the neighborhood, it's not the greatest place to live honestly, Trixie and her family are pretty poor so they live in a cheap home they can only just afford, I feel somewhat guilty that I'm so well off compared to her but it means I can treat her, so silver lining I guess. The door opens to reveal Trixie, the first thing I notice is how stressed she looks, the second (shortly after the first) is how incredibly stunning she looks. She's wearing a skintight latex dress in baby pink, her long hair in a thick braid hanging over one shoulder. Her makeup is pretty normal except she's wearing some white iridescent glitter over a honey brown cut crease with her signature eyeliner.
I hop out of the car and go to meet her halfway, taking her shaky hands.
"What's the matter?" I ask, she sighs.
"Just my dad, I was worried he'd spot me in this dress" She tells me hurriedly.
"Okay, you're safe now. Come on let's get into the car you'll freeze to death" I say, opening the car door for her.
"Okay mom" She laughs, getting in. I smile to myself and shut the door, crossing to my side and hopping in."Oh uh- You look amazing by the way, Trixie." I say, she blushes a little making her cheeks even pinker than before.
"Thank you Katya, you too" She says, leaning over to kiss my cheek. I smile and turn my face to catch her lips before she moves away, I kiss her and she giggles.
"Alright then, off we go!" I say, starting up the car engine and driving away.Trixie bounces her leg anxiously as we get closer and closer to Violet's house, I put my hand on her legs and squeeze gently.
"Don't worry gorgeous, everyone there will be lovely I promise." I reassure her, she forces a smile but I can tell she's biting her cheek. I flick the radio on and Trixie seems to relax a little, music is her happy place.
~carrying on our throwback weekend we have some ABBA for you, please enjoy~
the song Waterloo beings playing and I smile, I really like ABBA and clearly so does Trixie, she begins singing along quietly.'Waterloo, knowing my fate is to be with you'
Trixie's eyes flash to me at the last line, I can't help but grin stupidly at how cheesy she is. We pull up before the song can finish and I switch off the radio, glancing at Trixie's pale anxious face.
"Are you sure you wanna do this? We can just go for dinner somewhere-"
"No I want to, I really do I just- what if I stand out?" Trixie interrupts.
"If you stand out it'll be for your beauty and nothing else. But if anyone flirts with you I'll knock them out, sound good?" I say, Trixie giggles and nods. I step out of the car and open her door, holding out my hand for her to take. She does so and we walk hand in hand together up to Violet's front door that's being propped open by a random rock from the garden.I step inside first followed by Trixie right behind me, I immediately spot Violet and call her name, she joins us.
"Hey Kats! Oh wow Trixie, you look amazing!" She notes, Trixie smiles shyly and I put a hand on her shoulder.
"Doesn't she just? She's a bit nervous though." I say, Trixie bites her lip.
"Oh no! Here let's get a drink and you can settle in alright?" Violet says brightly, she's an incredible host, kind and responsible but not a complete bore, plus she's friends with Trixie so we're cool. The three of us head to the table with all the drinks, Violet asks what we'd like.
"Mhmm... Peach schnapps?" Trixie asks, I chuckle to myself, of course it's something sweet and not too strong, I should've guessed. I however am here to get faced.
"Vodka cranberry, you know how I like it" I say, Violet nods - pouring the glass most of the way full with vodka and topping it off with a shot of cranberry juice. Trixie's eyes widen as she watches Violet hand me my drink, I smile and take a sip."Oh my god Katya" She laughs, I grin.
"Wanna try some?" I ask, offering the drink to her, she stares at the cup for a while and nods, taking it in her hands and sipping feverishly, immediately she recoils.
"Oh! That's awful!" She gasps, putting a hand under her mouth and pulling a face of disgust. I chuckle and take another sip, practically unfazed by the drink.
"I think I'll stick to my peach schnapps thanks" she laughs, I smile and kiss her.
Pearl Liaison saunters over, I only know her because she's one of my stoner buddies - although that's because there aren't many other stoners at the school."Hey Zamo" She says.
"Pearl! How are ya kid?" I say, tapping my fist to hers.
"Same old really, you been blazing much?" She asks, I shake my head.
"Gotta focus on my grades" I say.
"Boring, but fair enough" She replies, I chuckle and put my arm around Trixie's shoulder, her arms are crossed over her chest anxiously
"Hey, what's up?" I ask, she shakes her head.
"Nothing- don't worry" she replies, kissing me on the cheek and taking another sip of her drink.
