Free ice cream is how she handles a person attacking her, imagine that. Her litte shop was cute. It looked like your average Dairy King. This place was packed, Asher didn't think this many people could fit into an ice cream place. Ethan and Asher waited in a line for a good 15 minutes before they made it to the counter to order their food.
"Hello, welcome to our shop. What can I get u guys?" A small voice asked behind the counter. Which indeed belonged to a tiny girl. She seriously couldn't be 5 feet tall.
"Uhhhh, Ethan what do u want?" Asher asked, he still couldn't figure out what he wanted.
"Can I just get chocolate chip mint ice cream, please?" Ethan said to the young girl
"Sure thing, and what will you have sir?"
"Can I just get some vanilla ice cream, please?" Asher couldn't figure out what to eat and vanilla was the first thing that came into mind.
The lady gave us our ice cream and they started to head back to their own houses. Well apartment was a better word for where they lived. They owned a huge apartment building. It had over 30 apartments. Most were still empty, and Ashers little kingdom was spread through out it. Asher and Ethan were the only ones that lived on the top 2 floors.
"You seriously got vanilla ice cream? You do realize you just got your ass kicked by her?" Ethan said while trying not to laugh.
"I panicked okay! I've never been good at picking stuff under pressure." Ashers face turned a cute shade of pink, Ethan couldn't hold his laugh in any longer.
When they finally got the their place, they walked into their main lobby. The lobby honestly looked more like a bar. It had two pool tables in one of the corners. Couches and tables were spread out on the floor. There was a big bar against the wall in the back. The elevators were on the right wall.
"Asher, you want a drink?" A female voice called from behind the bar.
"No, I'm good Lulu. I think I'm just go up to my place. It's been a long day." Asher said while already inside one of the elevators. The doors closed and that was the last anyone saw of Asher for the day.
"Yikes did the encounter go that bad?" Lulu cringe as she poured Ethan a glass of beer.
"Kinda, we manage to learn what some over her powers do. She seems to control ice, which was a given considering her name. But her powers, it felt like she was holding back. But it also seemed like she didn't know she was holding back. I don't think she has unlocked her true potential yet."Ethan leaned back on the bar stool.
"Than I guess she is just like our king. Reckless and growing." Lulu smacked Ethan across the face. "I can't believe you actual went along and let him fight her, without knowing anything about her powers! Asher could have died!"
"Ow, geez lady have more faith in the man. It will take more than some ice to kill that fool. The man literally controls fire!"
Lulu shook her head, "Still your his right hand man. If something happens to him your the one that is going to take responsibility for what happened. I don't want to lose my king nor does anyone else." She said that part loud enough so everyone else could hear.
Ethan raised his glass in the air, "To our king!" The rest of the people raised their glasses and cheered. "Lets hope I don't fuck this up." Ethan whispered underneath his breath.
Ethan would do anything to keep his king, his brother save. That was a promise he made himself a long time ago before being a king was an option for Asher.
