The next morning, I woke up without Yunho beside me. I walked into the kitchen and saw him cooking.

"I thought you left already." I said as I took the seat on the dining table.

"Let's have breakfast," He smiled. "I cooked a lot." He placed the foods on the table and I was just watching him. I missed this.

We are both eating in silence and I never felt this awkward before. I know there's something off.

"Mingi.." Yunho called me. It wasn't his usual tone and he sounds nervous as he puts down the chopsticks on his plate.

"Hmm?" I'm nervous that I can't even look at him. There must be something and it's not so good. I'm not looking at him and keeps on eating the food he cooked though I already feel anxious.

"L-let's break up." He finally dropped the words that broke my heart into pieces. I knew it.

I stopped eating but I'm still not looking at him.

"Okay," I said as I sighed before smiling. It was a sad smile. "It's okay. I know you're tired, Yunho and I am too. This whole situation is messed up."

"I'm.. I'm sorry, Mingi. I know we've been both aware of this but we're both so busy that we didn't even have the time to... f-fix this," His voice broke. "It's all broken now. Not just this situation but the both of us. We need time."

"I know, Yunho and I understand." My tears started to fall. "So I guess this is our last breakfast together?" I said as I faked another smile while crying. I know I look like a crazy mess in front him now.

He just stared at me for a minute before he stood up and hugged me from behind while was still sitting.

"Mingi, I'm really sorry. I did this for the both of us. I love you, you know that," I felt his tears on my left shoulder. "This doesn't mean I finished and I will ever stop loving you. But we need time for ourselves."

"I know. I'm letting you go but that doesn't mean that I want to, that I don't love you. It's because we're trying so hard that it gets tiring for the both of us," I removed his arms that were around me. "I understand. Thank you for everything."
