Christina's pov~

Tris runs into the cramped, bleak hospital room almost knocking me over. Obviously confused at the sight until the monitor comes into view.

"Congratulations..."Tris gapes trying to hide her shock. In response Shauna gets nosier crying."Where's Ze-"

"Tris" I say quietly silencing her.

"Where's the doctor" Tris continues ignoring me.

"I told him I needed a moment" Shauna is suddenly calm speaking clearly "to decide what next."

"What's next?" Tris speaks up.

"Shut up" I hiss at her lack of tact.

"Get a apartment" Shauna says with as slight wobble to her voice.

"A bigger apartment? You already have a two bedroomed?" Tris says confused and I want to punch her but fiddle with my sleeves again pulling them down as far as possible and curling my fingers into a fist.

Shauna starts crying again and Tris looked even more confused.

"Tris-" I start

"We're done" Shauna wimpers clutching her ribs.

"Oh.." Tris mumbles in response

"We grew apart" Shauna lies but the scene from earlier plays in mind and I want to say something but I don't because Tris is here and I know if I talk to her I won't be able to stop because I'm not ready for that.

Zeke pov~

I want to feel bad for hitting Four, so I can ignore what else I feel bad about but it isn't working. Imillions.hrough the dark  empty dauntless corridors guessing everyone's still at dinner till I find my destination.

Two hours later sitting in a worn stool in the secrets Dauntless bar that the leaders always turn a blind eye at, I drank enough for the buzz in my brain to still to a nice calming emptyness. A feeling I usually shared with friends for a laugh or over stupid stuff that felt like the end of the world.

I laughed at Tobias in here after our double date and he couldn't understood why his date got offended when he showed up half an hour late.

That was right after our job choosing ceremony only three years ago yet it feels like millions

The bartender throws me out at closing time and I make my way to Uriadhs apartments. I crawl up stairs, stumble down corridors and try to read the numbers on doors through my blurry drunk eyes until I find the right door.

I bang my fist against the wood. I shout his name. I try and look through the peep hole but its all black. He must be asleep. I remember when we were little and I had to scream in his ear to wake him up for school. He's always been a heavy sleeper.

"URIADH" I shout trying to wake him up "URIADH"

Somewhere down the hall someone shouts at me to 'shut the fuck up' but I shout his name again and again banging my fists till my knuckles bleed.

The drunk mist lifts from my mind and it dawns on me.

Uriadhs dead. He's still dead. No one lives here anymore its just another empty apartment.
