Chapter 20: "I prefer green."

It's weird, but I don't even feel sad, I'm just angry. It's been a month and I'm fine. I went to the tailor and got my jacket remade.

I have cried though. I destroyed the painting I made, and then I cried. They were all there for me. it was nice to have so many people care.

I haven't cried since that day.

"Zoey." Mom sighs. She's really worried about me.

"Hmm?" I ask. I'm in sweats and a tank top, reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

"Are you okay?" everyone is worried, actually.

"I'm all good." I say seriously.

"Zoey," she sighs.

"Mom, I'm not even sad about it." I shrug. "He made his choice. He was way out of my league anyways."

Everyone in the room starts laughing, and I smile.

"Are you worried about anything?"

"Yeah, my children." I admit.

"Your children?" Nana's eyes widen. "Are you pregnant?"

"No, no, nothing like that. My future children. I feel like I won't ever find Mr. Right, you know? I want a family, my own family."

"I understand." Charley says. "I felt the same for a while after Ryan. Then I heard this song, and...you need to listen to it, because it's true." She walks over to my and taps my legs till I move. I sit up and she sits down. She goes on her iPad and pulls up YouTube and in the search, she types haven't met you yet-Michael Blublѐ.

She clicks on the video, and we both watch and then he starts singing.
