Weeks after Skystar was born, Tsunami was playing with her sister, smiling. She nuzzled Skystar, and gave her her bottle, and plushie bird toy. Skystar giggled, and Tsunami smiled, but gasped as she heard screaming. Novo, Tidal Wave, and General SeaSpray ran out, and Tsunami looked out the window, only to gasp as she saw a horrific sight. Millions of Hippogriffs we're running from Storm Guards, and trying to escape the attack. SeaSpray quickly flew to the nursery, and ran in, grabbing Tsunami just as she grabbed Skystar. He then flew to the shore, just as Novo ran to the beach. They ran into the secret exit, and sealed it, causing them to be safe. But not all Hippogriffs made it out alive... Including their King...
Tsunami slowly opened her eyes, and gasped as she saw she had a purple mermaid tail. Novo then saw Tidal Waves crown, and gasped. She began to tear up, realizing what happened to her husband. Tsunami swam to her, and asked "Mommy? Are we gonna go home soon?". Novo sniffled, and said "Baby... We can't go home...". Tsunami asked "Why!? Daddy could beat them, we just need to find him!". At that, Novo froze, unsure about how to tell her daughter that her father was gone.
Tsunami then yawned, and Novo had SeaSpray take the young Princesses to bed. Tsunami sighed as she asked "SeaSpray? Will Daddy be home soon?". SeaSpray, still shocked over losing one of his dearest friends, said "I... I am unsure, darling...". At that, Tsunami sighed, and fell asleep.

Tidal Wave groaned as he slowly woke up, feeling like he lost a boxing match. He slowly stood up, but then saw a mirror. He walked to it, and gasped at what he saw. Tsunami was being put to bed, and a male voice that sounded similar to SeaSpray said "My best friend is dead... How will I tell Tsunami?". Tidal Wave then yelled "NO!! THIS ISN'T REAL!!!". He then saw his flesh turn into bone, and he yelled in fear. "NO!!! NOVO!! SKYSTAR!!! TSUNAMI!!!....". Then all was silent...
