Chapter 7

Sighing she nodded and took off into the trees with her teammates to find the Uchiha and his teammates. After about ten minutes of not being able to find them Sakura suddenly stopped on a tree branch and performed the Rain Tiger at Will technique and made it rain infusing her chakra with it to sense everyone and anyone. After about five minutes she finally found and located them the worst part was, they were already in battle with Orochimaru.

Confrontation

Normal P.O.V

Sighing frustratingly Sakura and her teammates ran off into the direction she has sensed them in, not bothering to hide their true speed. 'Maybe letting them go against Orochimaru by themselves was a bad idea.' Thought Sakura as the soon came into a clearing only to see the snake disappear within the shadows and Sasuke lay there withering in pain with a hand clutched to his neck, his other two teammates out cold. Quickly inspecting them Sakura sighed with relief when she found no permanent damage done to any of them except for the curse mark on Sasuke. Making a sudden decision Sakura told her teammates to grab the other two as she grabbed Sasuke and placed them in a hollowed out tree along with their two scrolls, assuming the snake left them his.

Sighing to herself again she had placed a genjutsu around them so that way no one will notice their presence there on anywhere within a thirty mile radius, which is pretty much the length of the forest of death so unless you were outside the gates, no one knew where you were. Growling she stalked off, all the while cursing out the snake and his right hand man. After about twenty minutes they arrived at the tower in the center of the forest.

"Hey Saki, are you sure that it's okay to leave them there by themselves? What if Orochimaru comes back for them?"

"He wont, Orochimaru just made his move, he will most likely wait for at least a week or two before he makes another move."

"Okay fine, but what if he sends someone else after them?"

"Well that's another reason why I put up the defensive genjutsu around them."

"But what if- ARIGHT!" yelled Sakura, cutting off Kyo. "We'll stick around until they make it to the tower. Would that be better?"

"Yes!" yelled both of her teammates at the same time. Groaning, Sakura stood up and jumped to a tree and contacted her father and told her of what had happened.

For two days and nights team 13 slept in a tree, on the third day Karin had finally woken up, looking at her surroundings first she realized there was a genjutsu placed around them, not knowing what it was doing or what it could do she dispelled it, although with great difficulty. Shaking her head Sakura knew that after she dispelled the genjutsu anyone would now be able to sense them all so she and her teammates made their chakra signature disappear so they won't be found out. While her teammates were unconscious she went out and filled up her canteen from a river that wasn't five feet away and grabbed some fruit that was in some trees and bushes. Walking back to her team she rummaged through her bag and grabbed two wash cloths and poured some water on them and placed them on Naruto and Sasuke's foreheads. After that she made two traps incase an enemy came by. A little noticeable, but, good enough for her standards.

After about seven hours the sun was beginning to set again and Karin began to doze off while Sakura was receiving a call from her father, she gestured for her two teammates to watch after team 7, they nodded while she was talking with her father. The rest of team 13 knew what was going to happen when a squirrel came running towards Karin. Karin noticed that it was headed straight for one of her traps that she set so she threw a kunai at it, scaring it and making it run off. Almost instantly three shadows emerged from within the trees. Kyo and Jirou were on their toes, ready to jump down and help her and protect Sakura if needed. But right now, protecting team 7 was a top priority.
