sleep talk (based on yellow wood m/v losely)

a/n: this isn't a ship chapter, just based off of me learning i sleep talk last week while i was at disney in my room with my stepsister. also happy late pride month.(i've been busy with work and school rip, but schools over)

"Guys can you change rooms with me? I'm starting to fear for my life." Seungmin begged the 7 boys sitting in front of him.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad." Chan disagreed.

"Not that bad? I beg to differ. Last night he was saying 'take another useless picture and i'm going smack it up side your head.' and there's been more. Seriously can I sleep with one of you?"

"I'll sleep in your room tonight and you can take mine. If he gets to bad about it, I'll go to my room and get in bed with Jeongin, Okay?." Chan said, seeing as the younger was extremely worried.

"Okay. Thank you, hyung." He sighed in relief.

"It's no problem. Now let's all go to sleep before it gets to late." Chan said as he got up and walked in front of Seungmins door, he stood there for a second before quietly opening the door as to not wake Hyunjin up who was only lightly snoring.

He carefully walked over to Seungmins bed and got into the sheets and laid his head down on the pillow.

Right before he fell asleep, he heard a strange noise before he could think to much of it he heard Hyunjin speak.

"I can't do this anymore. Why are we running? I don't want to change. Help. Help me, Hyungs. Help me understand." After that there was a long silence before he continued "I knew you wouldn't understand, none of you do. I don't feel right about this, let me go." Chan was getting worried of how he was talking, they all made this decision together, why now, in his dream does he only bring it up? "Goddammit Seungmin stop with the stupid pictures!! No ones going to see this, not even us!!"

That's when Chan heard enough, but instead of going to Jeongins bed like he said, he went to wake up Hyunjin to talk to him instead.

"Hyunjin, wake up." He said as he lightly shook him awake.

"What? Chan, What time is it?" He said in a groggy manner.

"It's 12:30"

"Why did you wake me up, so early? are we leaving?"

"No, not that. I was going to sleep in here cause Seungmin said you're sleep talking was scarring him. I couldn't fall asleep cause you were sleep talking and it was something we need to talk about."

"I scared him off? I didn't mean to." He said worried for the younger. "But what is it that I was saying that we need to talk about this early for?" He asked tilting his head to the side as he sat up with his legs dangling off the side of the bed, making room for Chan.

"You said that you wanted to run, to stop, you asked us hyungs, but we didn't and you got upset at Seungmin for his pictures." Chan explained to the confused boy sitting next to him.

"I remember the dream, I have it a lot." Hyunjin took a deep breathe before continuing. "It's also something I think about a lot, running away I mean. Its just I want to go on my own path, but I also don't want to leave y'all behind. I'm not so sure that I'm so ready to change my entire life, let alone the world, hyung. I'm sorry, I don't want to upset you." He said with a tear slipping out of his eye(a/n got to get sappy you know)

"Can I let you in on something? We all fill the same, some more than others. Even I do everyday even if I am the one to start this. I question if what we're actually doing the right thing every day, every riot we have, every step we take. But then I see more people change and come with us, I see more people follow in our steps, more people eyes open. It builds my pride enough to keep going, because this is more than just me and you, this is the whole world on our shoulders. That's a lot to take in and I know it's scary, but I also know that we all can do this if we stick together, Okay?"

"You're right, Hyung. But how do I deal with all of this?"

"You talk it out with just me or anyone in our group and we will help you. We are not going to leave you behind, yeah?"(a/n predebut stays let's cry)

"Yeah." Hyunjin as he started to cry and Chan gave him big hug that lasted until he stopped crying.

"Also, don't hurt Seungmin or his camera." Chan said as he pulled away from the hug.

"I won't, hyung." He nodded to what the older said with a faint smile.

"Now let's get some sleep yeah."

"Yeah."
