The next day Alfred followed Arthur to work, while Arthur worked in the back Alfred got to know the other woman that worked at the registers, her name was Julienne.
After awhile Alfred became bored of their conversation and went to check on Arthur, he saw an amazing sight; Arthur moved his body to a song, a long mint green apron swayed with his movements. Alfred chuckled which startled Arthur, he spun around and glared daggers at Alfred "what's so funny?"
"I just realized how cute you are!"
Arthur blushed "No flirting while I work!"
Now it was Alfred's turn to blush, he stuttered "N-no, no! I um... I was just teasing you!" Alfred chuckled nervously
"Sure you were" Arthur went back to what he was doing, simply to mess with Alfred now
Alfred looked away blushing "I- I actually wanted to tell you something"
Arthur turned slightly "hm?"
"Well... Over the years I've kind of felt like I sorta... Liked you?"
Arthur walked over and pulled Alfred down to his eye level "In a way as..?"
Alfred's blush deepened, he couldn't find a way to say it
"Maybe, like like?" Arthur pushed on
Alfred nodded shyly, Arthur leant forward and his lips barely touched Alfred's. Alfred leant forward as Arthur pulled back, Arthur let out a snort and chuckled "Now who's the adorable one?!"
Alfred frowned and covered his face "Why'd you do that?" He whispered helplessly
"Because it was so priceless, and who wants to lose their first kiss in the back of a tea shop?" Arthur winked
"Does this mean you feel the same?"
"You'll have to wait" Arthur turned and went back to making a cup of tea
"Then we'll have a date" Alfred smirked
