Your face grimaced with worry as your boyfriend paced around the room,angrily. No the anger wasn't directed at you at all,in fact it was at his distant brother who was sacrificed to demons, hyakkimaru. In recent events he had gotten his eye slashed by his brother in attempt to get away. It caused you great pain to see him like this " tahomaru, why don't you come sit down?" Your voice laced with worry.

His head quickly turned and looked at you, but softened seeing your worried expression. He sighed and sat next to you, angrily with his arms crossed. " I am sorry (y/n) I am just . . . Thinking."
"Is it about hyakkimaru?"

You saw him immediately tense up and went to get back up but you stopped him "please, tahomaru listen to me." His eyes softened and his eyebrows furrowed slightly in frustration and he sighed again, this time more softly "alright, what would you like to discuss?" You gulped slightly knowing full well this was a sensitive topic but you knew you had to tell him how you felt and why you felt. You had to get through to him you just had to!

You couldn't bear watching him like this anymore. " tahomaru, I have noticed quite a bit recently..." he looked at you, slightly cocking an eyebrow in confusion. " ever since you started fighting hyakkimaru, you seem to be obsessed with getting him.." He furrowed his brows once again , knowing exactly what you were trying to tell him. "Look, (y/n) once I kill hya-" you grabbed his hands and looked at him, trying to get him to focus on you. "You can't tahomaru! I don't want you to kill anyone! Especially your brother! I understand what it means to you, however you must realize this has changed you. . . For the worse!"

He looked at you genuinely surprised.tears threatened to spill out of your eyes as you continued " you seem so distant! I hardly get to see you and when I do you, you get so angry and you pace around the room! It's not like the man I fell in love with!" His eyes widened in surprise and seeing your tearful expression brought him to tears as well, they didn't spill but they were there.

"I am truly sorry (y/n), I did not realize I was hurting you as well." His hand cupped your face, his face laced with worry. You looked back at him,wiping your tears away with your sleeve, hoping you had gotten to him. You felt him wrap the other unoccupied arm around your waist and he pulled you closer to him trying to comfort you. You smiled at his gesture and you wrapped both arms around him to cuddle into him.

He smiled softly and nuzzled his face into your neck making you blush slightly at his actions "I am truly sorry, my love." You smiled softly and rubbed his back slightly,trying to tell him it was alright. He seemed to relax at this and only pulled you closer, breathing in your scent.

"I promise, I will try to see things the way you do (y/n), I love you too much to hurt you."
