The snake star man wore yellow and black and he sat down next to the purple emo guy. The purple guy seemed to have anger towards him but I don't want to interfere, so I stayed quiet. Star man starts talking "So first may I ask your name?" I hesitated and stutter "I-It's N-Naomi" Star man speaks "Well Naomi I'm Thomas and the teacher man you saw and these other people aren't...my brothers" I got scared when he said that. That was my only explanation and I hate it when I don't have explanations. The dad Thomas calmed me down and rubbed circles on my back and I leaned into him. Thomas continued "These are parts of my personality. You are probably too young to know what some mean but you will learn." "O-Okay..."
Thomas points to the teacher "This is Logan my logical side." Logan waves "Salutations." I look at him puzzled "He means hi with a smart voice" says the dad Thomas "Hi Logan." "Oh! And this is Patton my morality." He points to the dad. "Hi kiddo!!!!" I liked that name. "Hi Patton." He pointed to the prince "This is Roman my creative or fanciful side." "Hello little princess!" Roman says. "H-Hi Roman" Thomas points to the emo one "This is is Virgil my anxiety." Virgil smirks and waves. I wave back and say a small hello. "And this..." Thomas points to the snake. "This is Deceit my deceit." Deceit waves with a smirk but unlike Virgil's it scared me.
I pressed into Patton. "Patton hugged me tight and rubbed my back. "I'm...very happy...to meet you Naomi." I squeeze Patton's hand. (Deceits lies will be in capital letters) Deceit laughs at my nervousness. "What is it little girl. Are you...SCARED" He screams. I scream and cling to Patton. "NO DON'T HURT ME PLEASE." Patton looks me in the eye. "Naomi...why did you say don't hurt me." "I-I um..." I let it out "I don't have parents because I was abused and my mother died and I was put into a foster system for 4 years and yesterday the owner kicked me out." I say fast but quiet.
Patton hugs me tight. "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry sweetheart." He kisses the top of my head and I feel safe. "Why don't you guys leave for a minute. I need to talk to Naomi." They nod and stand up, Patton giving one last hug. "So Naomi" Thomas said "I was wondering if...........if you would want me to adopt you." My jaw falls open and tears for in my eyes. " You like me?" I say letting the tears fall. "Yes Naomi who wouldn't." I cry and Thomas hugs me. I hear a squeak and see Patton run and hug us both. "YAY A CHILD. I GET TO HELP TAKE CARE OF A REAL CHILD." I giggle. I think I'm ready for a new life.
