I sat and waited with my book until they all looked at me happily smiling until I moved my foot and I whimpered in pain. "OWWWW!" I say flinching away. The nurse that told Thomas something leaves and all the sides come over to me. "Naomi we have something to tell you."

I looked up and answered him. "What is it?" He looked sad. "Your ankle bone is... shattered. They can fix it but it will take a while. It will be a while until you can walk normally again. I'm sorry sweetie. I'm so sorry." I understand this the most I've understood anything ever. I look down at my ankle as tears pour out of my eyes and I let out loud sobs. I cry into my hands as 6 pairs of arms wrap around me. (And they were all deceits.)

I cry and cry and cry. We head home after a while and I take a nap. When I awake I feel arms around me. I whimper as I try to get up. I hear Roman's voice. "Princess you shouldn't try and get up with that ankle. You might hurt it more." I frown and huff, trying to get into a new position. I get comfortable and open up my eyes. I see everyone look at me with a look of sorrow. I smile at them and I see Virgil chuckle.

"She may have a shattered ankle but she's still smiling." I giggle and ask if I can go back to sleep. "Yes kiddo you can go back to sleep. Do you wanna sleep here or in your room?" Patton says. I think about it and answer. "I wanna sleep here, but I don't wanna be alone." They look at each other. "Then we'll all sleep down here with you." Thomas says. I look at all of them. "Thank you guys for everything. You guys are really nice. But I'm sorry if I'm not what you wanted in a child." They all look at me. "Naomi your absolutely perfect and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." I smiled and close your eyes. I really love this place.

I'm sorry about how short this one is. I have a lot of stuff with the end of school and my dance National coming up. But I promise the next will be longer.

Bye bye rays of sunshine.
