In the last floor of a tall building, a snow-white haired man with severe looking bright green eyes stared hard at the city lights. The only noise inside the room was the clock ticking's noise fading into the background. The man suddenly turned around and slammed his fist into the circular desk making some of the water filled glasses tremble upon the impact and the people who sat on the chairs facing the table shiver in fear at the man's anger.
"Is someone finally going to explain to me why exactly my innocent baby granddaughter is everywhere in the media when I especially asked everyone in this room to take care of this storm? Where is your efficiency? What do I pay you for? They are making documentaries about her, exposing things about her. These vultures are putting her in more danger than ever without knowing it and now that everyone know about her manifesting such a powerful quirk, all eyes will be on my heiress." The man growled loudly, releasing Alpha's pheromone in the air, while the Betas can't smell it, they could feel his aggression and his anger made them shiver like scared children.
After his tirade, two brunettes entered the room, a tall man and an equally tall woman, both looking so exhausted that the freckles on their faces was the only thing making them somehow look alive.
"Akihiro" The woman said slowly "calm down." She walked and put her hand on his shoulders.
"Everyone gets out of this room now, we have urgent matters to talk about and due to circumstances, no one but a few select will help us with what we will do in the near future, enjoy tomorrow as a day of rest and wishes us luck." The black-haired man said professionally.
The staff didn't need to be told twice and they got out of the room nearly running without looking back.
"Hisashi how is Izuka? Is she alright? I was going to see her after this joke of a meeting, but of course things didn't go as planned" Akihiro sighed as he sat in his comfy looking chair and he closed his eyes for a bit enjoying his wife and son's scent.
At 42, Akihiro Midoriya is an Alpha at his prime. He has one beautiful ex-model who still looked like a model for a wife, his Hayami was the light of his life, and he has a son he loved more than anything even though he still bears so many regrets regarding how he raised him when he was younger...Regardless now his son is married to the sweet Inko who gave him one of the greatest things he could have asked for: Izuka.
Just thinking about his baby put a smile on his lips. 'Even when life gets rough you always manage to make me smile' he thought to himself fondly.'
When Hisashi first contacted him to announce he now had an omega granddaughter, he thought it was a prank, a way for him to get a petty revenge on his father who privileged his work and treated his son more like an heir than anything. When Akihiro was young, he lost his parents and his siblings in an accident, at 16 he took over the company and finally revealed himself as an Alpha. Everyone wanted to take advantage of his status and his wealth, he was one of the Alphas who didn't succumb to the "Beta Reversing" illness even when he married Hayami who was a Beta. He had to grow up really fast and he takes his responsibility with the utmost seriousness. When they had their first and only child right after marrying at 18, he swore to himself that he would do his best so that his son didn't grow up as a spoiled bratty heir but as a good heir who would privilege responsibility over pleasure. After all it's so easy for other people to influence wealthy children and use them however they see fit.
But he didn't realize that he distanced himself from his son, he didn't realize how he preferred to stay in meetings rather than spend time with him when he was little. And he didn't realize how Hayami and he were controlling toward Hisashi.
