The Spoiled Princess

Xena's POV

"Did you read her files Xena?" Matthew asked when we were in the car. Its seven in the morning so he's going to drive me to the to my destination which is the Spades mansion.

"Yeah. This girl really is a spoiled princess. She likes to fool around,going to clubs,drinking and leaving a trail of broken hearts in her wake." I said to him. He chuckled and pull out of the compound. Before he can drive I hastily put on my seatbelt. Better be safe than sorry and with Matthew driving,even the most deadliest assassins such as myself will have an heart attack.

"Come on Xena. Remember the time when you're fifteen? The other girls are practically drooling at the sight of you." He chuckled again as I give him an incredulous look. His chuckled turn to laughter.

"I don't think so Matt. They are not drooling on me." He continue to laugh and turn to look at me."Please look at the road Matt." I hissed at him. He look back at the road again and I released the breath I subconsciously holding.

"Do remember when we go to that mall on your sixteenth birthday?" He asked. Of course I remember it who wouldn't. I smile as I remember it.

"Of course." I said smiling.

"Those five girls practically take over our table and all of their attention are on you. They didn't even acknowledge my presence there."

"They just want to know how old I am and where school I'm attending."

"Yeah but did you saw the look on their faces when we were leaving. They're faces look like someone's puppy died." He said as I laughed.

"How did our conversation turn from the spoiled princess to me?" I asked him with a smile which he returned.

"But seriously Xena,who could resist you? Raven black hair,piercing silver gray eyes, full lips and straight aristocratic nose placed in a heart shaped face and not to mention your height, you can give models a run for their money." He said seriously.

"You're going soft dad." I said as I smile at him.

"Only for you kiddo." He said as he stopped the car in front of a big gate. I put on my shades as a guard tap on Matthew's window. He slide down the window.

"Were here for Mr.Spade." He said going back to his assassin mode. Which is expressionless face and watchful gaze.

"Are you the new body guard?" The guard asked.

"Not me. Her." He pointed at me and I wave my hand at the guard.

"Her? But she's just a girl." He said in a tone that's saying that he didn't believe us.

"Careful mister,this girl can beat the hell out of you with her pinky." I said sliding the shades down so he can see my glare. The first thing I don't like is someone calling me a little girl. He swallowed and I can saw the fear in his eyes. He look away first and clear her throat.

"Wait here I'm going to open the gate." He said and back away from the car. Seconds later the gate opened and we get pass it to drive in a long driveway. I look out at the window to look at the trees and sculptures. It look like a park.

"This family don't know where to spend their money are they?" I asked Matthew who goes back to his laid back mode.

"Eh,don't ask me I do t know the way of the rich." He said.

"Pfft. They probably have the built a park in your backyard initiation. Look around its a damn park not a backyard." I snorted at him while he laugh. We stopped at the front of the mansion.

"Whoa,it looks like the white house." I said and its now his turn to snort.

"Yeah. Now get out and don't drool on their floor." He said as he ruffled my hair. I swatted his arm and smile at him. He's the only one who ruffles my hair and got a smile at me not an injury.

"After this assignment is finished you're going to treat me a months worth of muffins got it?" He laugh and nodded his head. I for out of the car and slipped back on my shades. Matthew speed up and soon he's gone. Damn that man,one of this days he's going to be killed. Not in murder but on a car accident. A man walk out of the door and bow at me.

"I'm Jarvis the butler of the family. If you must follow me,the family is waiting." He walked back in the house and I follow him to meet the spoiled princess named Cassandra Spade.
