~Under The Lights Tonight~ (A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic)

1. Birthday Surprise

It was the second day of summer break and it was still part of that first week where you're allowed to just have lazy days and get used to the idea of no school for the next two months and I was loving it. I was just blasting music in my room while putting up some new One Direction posters and rearranging some of the old ones to change it up a bit when my phone all of a sudden went off and blasted "With Ur Love" by Cher Lloyd who's music I'm was in love with at the moment. It was my best friend Savannah and she screamed in my ear:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU CUNT, FUCK IT'S YOUR DAY AND I LOVE YOU BABE!!"

She always talked like that but I realized that I didn't even know what day it was..

"What day is it again love?" I asked trying to sound innocent and not ruin her sweet birthday wish.

"Dude it's June 29th you dumbass, it's your birthday! Why else would I call you and tell you that?"

I laughed and just said "I don't know, never do with you cause you're crazy.. and I say that with all the love in the world!"

She answered with another laugh and just said "Hah okay well love you babe have a great birthday I'll call you later and drop by with you present, and since you can't see me I'm gonna tell you that I'm winking right now."

I just giggled and said thanks and love you before hanging up.

I looked at my posters and was thinking allowed when I mumbled "Is there any chance that Sav has kidnapped you guys for me for my birthday?"

They just look at me and kept smiling like the perfect angels that they were, as I sighed and put up another new poster. Then I heard the door downstairs open and close and I heard my parents call my name and say they were home.

"HI!" I yelled back.

"Come down sweetheart we have a birthday surprise for you!" I heard my dad call up to me.

I ran down the stairs and hugged them both as we sat down on the couch.

"Here you go hun, it's for you." My mom said as she handed me an envelope.

I opened it and my jaw dropped and my eyes widened and I turned to gape at my parents.

"Are these for real, oh my god!!!" i screamed as I held up one of two plane tickets to London, England to make sure it was real and that I wasn't dreaming.

"Yes sweetie, you get to go to the city of your dreams and there's more, look in the envelope again!" my dad said happily.

I looked again and I started to freak out; inside the envelope were two concert tickets and two backstage passes to meet ONE DIRECTION!!! I started to cry as I squeezed both my parents into a tight bear hug, thanking them over and over again for the amazing birthday present. I couldn't believe it. I get to go to London, England for the summer; the city I fell in love with when I saw 'What A Girl Wants' as a kid, and I also get to see One freakin Direction and I get to meet them!! This was it, it was a dream come true.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRIELLA SWEETHEART YOU'RE 17 TODAY AND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" My parents both said as they smiled proudly at me.

Okay so I know it's really not that good and it was sort of slow and short but this is gonna be a fanfic about Louis, so tell me if I should actually go on with this. It's my first story so please don't hate !! :(

Also notice how my name says Brie Tomlinson, that's actually my alter ego haha my name isn't really Brie but I just really like it so that's why I'm also using it in my story..
