5 Nerves

Graysons pov:

It's been about a week since I've seen Andrea. I don't even know her and she's on my mind constantly. Every day it's 'what if she sees me do this on social media?' or 'what if she asks about me through a mutual friend?'. I'm constantly thinking of her.

I had to look good tonight. I heard from James that she would be sitting next to us. This would be my chance. My chance to finally have a real conversation with her.

Before getting out of my car I double checked that I looked ok. I even asked Ethan for the tenth time in half an hour. He gave me the same annoyed response.

Getting out of the car I saw the flash mob of photographers that I was expecting, but I wasn't focused on them. I had someone bigger to focus on.

Once I made it to the carpet I analyzed everyone there. I didn't see her in security, and I didn't see her doing an interview. That only meant one thing. She was already on the carpet. As I look over there, she was the first person I saw. She looked stunning. The way she was posing like she had done it a million times before made me smile. The way her dress matched her complexion and fit her like a glove made my heart skip. And when she looked me in the eye and caught me staring; that sent shivers down my spine.

Andrea's pov:

I didn't look away, I couldn't, and neither could he. Looking at him gave me shivers and I didn't know why. He made me feel some type of way, and I would always want to feel like this.

I broke the stare once I heard the paps asking me questions about what or who I was looking at. I continued to pose as I still felt him looking at me from afar. I felt my cheeks flush with tints of pink knowing that he was still looking.

Once I entered the arena I realized I was one of the first influencers inside. To make time fly I sat in my seat which I realized was RIGHT next to Grayson's. I mentally panicked and went on Instagram to get my mind off it.

"Is this seat taken?" A deep strong voice echoes.

I look up and see Grayson. The man I've been nervous to see all week.

"It's yours anyway, I can't prevent you from sitting there"

Grayson chuckled and took his seat next to me. "I don't think I ever properly introduced myself. I'm Grayson Dolan," He held out his hand for me to shake. I took it with my dainty hand and introduced myself. Not once did our gazes leave eachothers.

"So why haven't I heard about you In conversation?" he asked.

"I like to focus on work instead of socializing and becoming friends with the wrong people. It's never been my goal to focus more on my social life than work, so I don't let it become an issue."

He looked at me not saying a word. Right as he was about to say something else Emma caught him off guard.

"Andrea!" She said jogging over towards me. I got up to give her a hug and say hi. "Listen thank you so much for the advice you gave me last week. You really gave me a lot to think about and I'm going to tell Ethan sometime next week"

"That's great news!"

"Well, I'll let you and gray get back to whatever you were talking about" she got up and left leaving Grayson and me alone together again.

I've never been one that was able to talk to boys easily without embarrassing myself somehow, so this situation was nerve-racking for me.

"Are you going to be nervous if you win the category you're nominated in to go up and speak?" He asked breaking the awkward silence.

"No. I'm most likely not going to win being nominated with some of the best in the game. My manager told me to be prepared just in case."

'Why don't you think you are going to win?"

"I just believe it's very unlikely given who I'm up against. But I always say 'expect the best, prepare for the worst"

Again he looked at me not saying a word.

"That's a good mentality, I've never thought about this stuff in that way"

We talked the entire time after that. For some reason he made me feel so comfortable. Something I haven't felt since my last relationship.

Once it got to my category he nudged me excitedly and gave me a childish smile.

"Whatever happens, You are still amazing at what you do," he whispered giving me a smirk.

"And the winner for Best in Fashion/Makeup is..."
