I couldn't bring myself to get off of Alex, the feeling of her calmed me, and really my biology teacher didn't really matter at the moment, but something in Alex's eyes told me, 'we probably should get up so it doesn't look so bad.'
She helped me up and grabbed my phone and her book, handing my phone to me.
"Are you two alright?? I could hear a loud thump from down the hall." He said with a concerned tone.
"We're fine, honestly thank you, Alex was just trying to get her book and I tripped, I wasn't paying attention..you know..I was on my phone and all."
His face softened as he chuckled,"you kids, well be careful next time alright?" He said, leading us out of the classroom.
I nodded and smiled, leading the way outside, and then following Alex to her car. It was a cute little car, it was red and low to the ground with stickers littered all over the back window.
"You've got such a stereotypical.." I began to say but Alex laughed, opening the passenger door for me, which to my surprise, was very flattering, I thanked her quietly and got in.
"Yeah Yeah I know." She smirked to herself and shut her door,"my old friend always used to say that I was such a stereotypical dyke. It doesn't bother me any however, I like my style and my car.." she laughed and put her keys in.
"Plus i seem to attract cute girls, and that's never bad is it?" She said, looking over at me as she pulled out of the parking lot. My heart fell and my ears burned, was she saying I was cute?
"I-I mean I guess."
She laughed and cruised calmly down the road, I couldn't help but watch her through my side mirror, her eyes were even brighter in the sun, her skin kind of glistened and her hair had this glow to it, kind of like the sun.
I wouldn't admit to to myself but I was falling in love with this girl, I barely knew her and just her appearance and overall presence gave me the feeling of, home.
"Look at all those freckles," she said suddenly, turning to me once we reached a stop light, I was confused until I realized that especially in the sun, my freckles started to appear out of nowhere.
"O-oh yeah." I laughed softly and looked up at her, she was smiling down at me and brought a hand up to gently rub my cheek, my mouth fell open slightly as I sunk into her warmth.
"Gosh." I whispered, my eyes closing sleepily from her touch, she chuckled softly and held my face for alittle longer before the light turned green and she had to pull away.
Her hand returned back to the gear shift by my thigh, and the sick feeling in my stomach returned once more, a slight pout appearing on my face, if only she could hold me for alittle longer.

Walking into Alex's rooms was actually kind of surprising, I'd imagined she would have a boyish feel to her room that kind of fitted her style, and it was just that but.. not what I expected at all.
Her bed was tucked in the corner of the room, blankets and pillows piled on it so it looked like an absolute wonder to sleep on.
And then along the the first two walls there were..nerdy type posters, and movie and band posters, and then the other two walls were filled with mandalas.
Across from her bed was a tall bookshelf book shelf and along the sides two bean bags that sat, kind of like a little reading nook.
I set my things on top of her dresser and smiled, looking at all the little movie posters and such that hung above her bed.
"I forgot how painful it was to hang stuff up, especially all of the wall art I had, in my old house I kind of added on over a few years but this past weekend I had to take all of it and put it up at once, it looks nice though."
She said from behind me, I turned and nodded, "you know I hadn't taken it seriously when you told me you were a biology nerd, but I think you're just a nerd all around ." I teased, motioning to the bookshelf and all the posters.
Alex gave me a shy smile and stuck her tongue out, "I guess so." She laughed, pulling her hair out of the bun and letting it fall on her shoulders.
Okay, I stared, I'll admit I watched her the entire time but, it's not like she noticed? She was completely oblivious to my star-
"Do I have something on my face?" She asked and turned to me.
Shit, she was paying attention.
"N-no! Not at all..I just.." I gulped, "hadn't realized how long your..hair was?" That seemed a good enough excuse.
Alex gave me a sly grin and then nodded, she then pulled both of the beanbags into the center of the room and plopped in one, I followed her and sat across from her, pulling out my books.
We began to work, jotting down ideas, and as we did I felt pretty confident about the project, she had given us a serious leg up considering how much the topic fascinated her. (which was adorable by the way)
"And maybe I could draw a little demonstration of evolution and all that fun stuff." She babbled, I just watched her, of course I was taking in what she said but the scene was absolutely adorable, I couldn't help but admire her.
"That's great, I'll work on getting and printing out information, I can also find some things to make the trifold look more presentable and appealing."
Alex grinned and did that thing again with her hand, she grabbed my face, "that's perfect." She said softly.
My eyebrows furrowed and my stomach fluttered nervously as I looked up at her, "w-why do you keep doing this to me?" I whispered.
I could see her lips kind of twinge into a smile as she shrugged, it made me feel warm inside, I liked making her smile.
"Because seeing just how calm you get.." she shrugged, "I dunno Laura, there's just something about you." She sighed, a look of content on her face as she began to lean closer.
