Ashes

Thanos looked around and saw everyone around him down on the ground, except for Chase. He got up and started to yell, "What did you do?!" "You will know soon enough, pup." said Thanos as a vortex appeared and he walked through. The vortex disappeared and everyone was left there, thinking of what Thanos did. "Ryder? Why am I getting dusty?" said Marshall as his body started to turn into ashes and he blew away. "Marshall?" said Everest as everyone had tears forming.

"Whoa! What is this?!" said Jake as his arm disappeared and then he turned into ashes and blew away. "Jake! Not you too!" said Everest. Tracker and Carlos then turned into ashes as well and blew away. "This must be Thanos." said Ryder. "Ryder? Chase? I don't feel so good." said Skye as she began to hold her stomach in pain. Chase then ran towards her and hugged her as tight as he could. "Chase, I don't want to go. I don't want to go. Please!" said Skye as she was shedding tears, while in the arms of the pup she loves.

Skye then turned into ashes and she blew away into the land, leaving Chase broken. He didn't cry, he didn't get mad, he was just broken on the inside. "He took away almost everyone here." said Everest. "Oh no. Rocky? Rubble? Zuma?" said Ryder as he contacted the rest of his pups.

Zuma got the message and said, "Ryder, what's happening?" said Zuma. "Thanos snapped his fingers and we lost everyone here, except for Chase and Everest. "Uncle Humdinger? What's happening to you?!" said Harold as Mayor Humdinger started to turn into ashes. But before he fully turned into ashes, he said to Harold, "Don't worry about me Harold. It will be okay." He then blew into the wind, leaving Harold and the Kit-Tastrophe Crew standing there, crying. "We just lost Mayor Humdinger." said Zuma as the fall ended.

Rocky and Rubble saw people in the city, turn into ashes and blow away into the wind. "Alex?!" said Katie as she saw him turn into ashes and blow into the wind. Cali then turned into ashes and blew away from Katie's hands. "CALI! NOOOO!!" Said Katie as she began to bawl in tears. "We lost Cali, Alex, and a whole lot of people." said Rocky as he turned to Rubble and saw that he was turning into ashes as well. "RUBBLE!!" said Rocky.

"I guess in this story, the heroes do fail." said Rubble as he turned into ashes and blew into the wind, just like everyone else. "Rocky? What happened?!" said Ryder. "We just lost Rubble." said Rocky as he began to shed tears.

Thanos was sitting down on a chair on some planet. It was a beautiful planet and he smiled, knowing that he did what he was planning to do all along. "Perfectly balanced. As all things should be." said Thanos as he closed his eyes.
