In just a few days, you had another doctor's appointment. It was the first one where you really get to see the baby in the ultrasound. Yes, you had seen the tiny little speck in the last one, but this time it would be a tad bit bigger and easier to see. Plus, after the appointment, you two had planned on telling your parents the news.
You were a little unsure of how everyone would react to the news, but you honestly didn't care. Of course, you'd be a little upset if they weren't happy about it, but all that really mattered was the fact that you and Harry were over the moon about it. He had already been going through his things in the extra bedroom so that you two could use it for the nursery.
You had gotten some fruit from the fridge and went on the search for Harry. You could hear him in his office, playing around on the guitar. What he was playing was soft and sweet sounding. You smiled standing outside of the door as you listened closely. He was singing along, you could tell that much, but you weren't exactly sure about what he was signing.
However, you could tell it sounded like a lullaby. Your lips widen even more across your face. Your heart fluttered inside your chest as you continued to listen. As soon as he was finished, you cracked open the door and walked inside.
"Oh, hey, baby," he smiled setting his guitar down.
"Hey," you smiled walking over to sit on his lap. "That was beautiful. Did you write that?"
"You heard?" He asked a red tint flushing his face.
"I did. Not intentionally. I was walking by and stopped to listen," you said.
"It's not finished yet, but yeah, I've been working on a little something," he said.
"Well, I can't wait to hear the full thing once it's finished," you smiled.
Harry kissed your cheek before stealing a strawberry and popping it into his mouth.
"So, do you think your Mother suspects anything with us inviting her down this weekend?" You asked.
"I don't think so, no," he shook his head. "However, I wouldn't be surprised if she's a little suspicious. I mean we did elope... so I'm sure she's a little weary about us doing things without telling her again."
You nodded, "I hope everyone is happy about the baby. I know they will be eventually, but I want them to be happy from the start."
"I believe they will, at least my Mum and Dad will be," he said. "Besides it's not like we're teenagers. There are plenty of people our age having kids and married, it's not like we're sixteen."
"True," you nodded.
Harry put his hand on your belly and smiled, "You still haven't grown a whole lot, but I just love knowing our little one is inside there."
You giggled, "You're so weird."
"I am not!" he laughed.
"Yeah, yeah," you giggled. "Anyway, I'm going to go take a bath."
"Do I get to join?" He smirked.
"Hm, why not," you said. "You can rub my back."
Harry rolled his eyes as he followed you out of the room.

"Okay! Let's go!" Harry said pacing in front of the door.
"Oh my god, we're fine," you laughed putting on your jacket. "I hate to break it to you but they're not going to take us back any earlier just because we get there ten minutes early."
"I'm sorry! This just a really big day," he said.
"Let's hope you're this calm and collected when I'm in labor," you joked.
"Fuck off," he laughed as you both walked out the door.
Today was the day you had your appointment. Tomorrow morning your parents would be flying in and Harry's parents would be coming down as well. The entire drive to the doctors you were feeling both nervous and excited. Nervous because you wanted everything to still be going perfect and that you and the baby were healthy and right on track. Excited because you were one step closer to sharing your news and seeing your baby.
Once you got the doctor's office, you checked in and waited for them to call you back. As soon as they did, you both quickly followed the nurse to the back and to your room. You laid down on the bed and pulled up your shirt while the nurse got everything ready for the ultrasound.
"So, Y/N, how are you feeling?" She asked.
"I'm feeling great. I mean some days I feel a little nauseous or tired, but for the most part, I'm feeling much better than I did a few weeks ago," you answered.
"Well, that's expected. Most morning sickness goes away after the first trimester, so you're almost out of the woods," she smiled.
You snorted a bit looking over at Harry, who rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"Am I missing something?" She laughed.
"Not at all," he said motioning for her to continue.
You giggled turning your head in the direction of the screen.
"Okay, Y/N, I'm going to put some of this gel on your belly. It'll be a little cool," she said.
You nodded s she squirted what seemed like the entire bottle of gel onto the skin of your belly. You shivered a bit.
"Now, who's ready to see your baby?" She smiled.
You and Harry were both staring at the screen as she moved around your belly. She pressed different buttons, which gave different angles. You smiled as soon as you saw the slightly bigger speck on the screen.
"Wow," Harry smiled holding your hand. "This still amazes me."
"Just wait until its bigger and you really get to see the facial features and everything," she smiled.
"And I can't wait for that day," he smiled.
She smiled before looking back at the screen. The nurse kept hitting buttons and going to different angles and such when she stop.
"interesting," she said. "What do we have here?"
"What is it?" You asked. "Is something wrong?"
"Hold on, one second," she said pressing different buttons.
You looked over at Harry, both of you with worried looks. All of a sudden you heard the sound of a heartbeat coming through the speakers. A sigh of relief rushed out of the two of you.
"Just as I thought," she smiled. "Do you hear that?"
"The heartbeat? Yes, is there something wrong with it?" You asked.
"Well, there isn't just one heartbeat," she smiled. "There's two."
