[February- Week 3]

"HIS NAME IS KAI," Cher announced proudly as she handed the boy over and into Max's arms.

"Congratulations," Max said drily, taking the little boy into his arms.

"She only had to learn his name because yelling 'baby boy' got her three babies that wasn't the one she was looking for," Brittany scoffed. "Don't get too excited."

Cher glared at Brittany, hand clenching and unclenching as she chanted in her head that killing people was illegal and she was here on a Visa and couldn't risk getting it revoked.

But oh, how Halloween would be such a good day to kill people. Like, seriously, you could kidnap a child and no one would be able to say 'superman kidnapped my baby' because that would be absurd. Also, you could probably hide a person's body on your lawn and people would just think it's a Halloween decoration.

"Cher." Max interrupted, waving a hand in front of Cher's face. "Cher, you have that look on your face like you're plotting something."

"Whu- me? Nah bruh," Cher waved, ignoring Max's suspicious looks.

Kai wriggled in his arms and Max put him down, watching as the boy toddled over to the window. His face and hands were pressed to the window, looking with wide eyes at the scene below where everyone was trading children- which was less shady than it actually sounded like. Seriously.

"Hey," Kelvin smiled slightly, hands clasped with Dulce who was chewing on the straw of her juice bottle. "What's up?"

"No I am not switching permanent partners with you," Cher answered immediately. "No matter how many texts you send me. NO."

"But why?!" Kelvin asked, face projecting his feeling of dismay. "I don't want Brittany. This whole week without Brittany was the best week since this project started."

"It only started like, four weeks ago."

"EXACTLY."

"Tori come back!" Alicia yelled, chasing after a girl with extremely long hair. (Seriously, the hair went to about the girl's calves. It was that long.)

"Whoa. Long hair," Cher blinked, staring as Alicia ran after the little girl.

Kenn followed behind her a couple minutes later, carrying a sleeping Nico in his arms.

"'Sup," He nodded, walking by calmly.

"Attention all parents!"

Everyone turned to the nearest television screen, staring as the host smiled brightly. "I will now be announcing the new mission!"

The auditorium quieted down as everyone strained to hear the host over the crying of babies and the giggles and children.

"Scattered around the campus are costumes with student numbers on them. Each couples job is to find their costumes and get into them, as well as stay in character. If you break character, you lose. After you get your costume, your job is to find your child's costume, which will have the child's name and number on it. If you get your kid in costume and don't break character, you will advance to the next round. If your partner breaks character, at the end of the round, you will be swapped with a new partner for the rest of the year. Good luck everyone!"
