Alexis' POV
It was the first day of middle school, I was so excited to see all my friends from elementary school. I got up and got ready, only to find out that Naruto wasn't up yet.
"Naruto get up!" I yelled in his ear, he woke up, and got ready and we ran to school, when we got there, it was crowded but I still tried to find some of the people I have missed. Just then I look left and see a girl with long pink hair, it is Sakura.
"Hey Sakura!" I yelled running over to her.
"Oh, hey, Alexis, how was your summer?" She asked
"Oh you know, just trying to keep Naruto in check, how about you?"
"Oh, just shopping here and there, with the girls"
I felt like crying hearing that, the fact that they didn't invite me to go with them.
"Okay, well I am gonna get going" I said, almost running away, trying to get to the classroom as fast as I could. That is till I bumped into someone, I looked up to see Itachi, I thought he left.
"Itachi!!" I screamed blushing cause I ended up dropping my stuff and having things going everywhere, and his brother Sasuke heard and came over, and started kicking my stuff farther and ruining my stuff, until Itachi said something.
"Hey, stop it. She didn't do anything to you, now pick up her stuff, and help her up."
"Tch" was all that Sasuke said.
After that, I was looking at Itachi, and I heard laughing around us, I look around to see everyone in the school around us laughing, except for like three people. I got up and ran as fast as I could in the direction of the classroom. I got there and went in, to see Kiba, and Neji, and Hinata, sitting in sits. I saw an open seat next to Neji, so I sat with him, as Hinata day in the front, and Kiba three rows in front of me and Neji.
"H-hey, Neji." I said slightly blushing and waving at him.
"Hey, Alexis. How was your summer?" He asked.
"Could have been better. How was your summer?"
"Good, got a lot of training in with Hinata, and am so ready for this year." I could help but sit and just enjoy his company, until a certain duckbut came in.
"OMG IT IS SASUKE!!! HE HAS GOTTEN SO MUCH HOTTER OVER THE SUMMER!!!!!"
Was all you heard from his fan girls, everyone, except for me and Hinata, Tenten. I just sighed and put my head on the table, I must have slammed it by accident, cause I got tapped on the shoulder, by Neji, asking if I was okay.
"Yeah, just peachy, just have a headache, cause of the screaming."
He put his hand on my head and I blushed fifty shades of red(hehe get the reference) he seemed to notice.
"Alexis? Are you okay? You look red, are you feeling okay?"
I couldn't answer all I said was.
"I- uh um hehe," I think I passed out cause the next thing I know is I am in the nurses office and Neji is sitting next to the bed waiting for me to wake up.
"Aww, Neji is so cute when he is sleeping" he happened to hear me, and woke up, I didn't know he was awake!!
"You really think so?"
"Uh, Yeah, I mean you always look cute, except when you train. When you train you are just hot as hell."
As soon as those words left my mouth, I put my hand over my mouth, and turned my head in the other direction. Only to have it turned back by none other then Neji.
"You know, I can say the same thing about you."
I was now blushing a deep red.
"I uh, thank you."
"No problem"
He then leaned in and kissed my cheek.
" so do you uh want to go get lunch sometime?"
"Sure"
After that he walked me home, when we bumped into Itachi and Sasuke.
"Alexis, are you okay? I didn't see you dearing lunch. And Sasuke said you were in the nurses office. What happened?"
"Itachi, I am okay, now. I just hit my head on the table, a bit to hard, and passed out from blood loss."
"Okay, you wanna come for dinner?"
"Are you sure it is okay?"
"Yeah, if you want you can sleep over, cause it is Friday.(don't know why the first day is on a Friday😂) Your friend can come to if he wants?"
"Neji, do you want to stay?"
"Let me check with Hinata, and my uncle and I will text you later"
"Okay, Itachi I would love to stay let me go home and pack and tell Naruto where I will be, and I will be back."
" okay, you want me to walk you?"
"Are you sure? "
"Yeah , I don't mind, and Sasuke can walk home."
"Okay"
*time skip to my house*
"Okay, if you just want to stay here while I get my clothes."
I walked to my room, and I took out a bag, and packed my clothes, and Naruto wasn't home so I left him a note and I sent him a text.
"Okay, I am ready, let's go."
"Okay, right this way."
We walked for about 5-10 minutes, until I got pushed by someone, and fell and landed in the mud.
"Haha, what a clutz"
I know that voice, it was Ino and Sakura.
"Why would you do that?"
"Cause I wanted to, now get out of my sight you fucking clutz, who only goes to her friends to get with their brother, you slut!" I felt like crying, I felt absolutely terrible, I went to grab my stuff but they, grabbed it and through it in the mud getting everything dirty, I started to cry I just got up and ran, as fast as I could, to Itachi's house.
Itachi's POV
I wasn't sure on what was going on, I went to help Alexis, but when she reached for her bag, they picked it up and through it I to the mud, next thing is, Alexis is crying running as fast as she can to my house. I picked up her bag, and ran after her. After I got home, I saw mud tracks, leading into the backyard so I followed and found Alexis, getting ready to take her sword and stab herself. I dropped her bag ran towards her, grabbed her sword, and dropped it and gave her a hug.
"Itachi?" She asked, still crying
"Yeah."
"Why did you do that?"
"Do what? Take your sword away?"
"Yeah."
"Because I need you here, I can't just stand and watch my best friend kill herself, I need you."
I think that got to her, cause she hugged me tighter, and cried.
"Hey, why don't you go take a shower, and I will get you clothes in the wash. Okay?"
"Okay."
