PLOT In which a rebellious teen makes a list of things she'd like to do with her friends before she leaves forever.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
• 70 days symbolizes how many days Lydia has left to spend with her friends.
• Lydia is moving to a new town, and doesn't have the guts to tell her friends.
• Parker is 18 (senior) Lydia is 16 (sophomore) Benji is 10 (5th grade)
• The main idea of this story is, Lydia made a list of things she'd like to do before leaving Derry. They are full of wild things, a few examples being egging Greta Keene's house, shop lifting, stealing a shopping cart, etc etc. (make them fun and wild, also most of them need to be with the whole club.)
• Lydia and the Loser's will be going into their Junior years.
• One of Lydia's options on her list is losing her virginity. She has had a crush on Vic Criss for years, she decides to ask him on a date, obviously Stan is upset over this, he doesn't think she should go on a date / plan on losing her virginity to someone who has relentlessly bullied her and her friends. Lydia obviously doesn't care and continues to go on a date with Vic. Later that night Vic stands her up and Lydia calls Stan and he picks her up comforting her. Later that night Lydia asks Stan if he's a virgin and he replies back with a no which obviously leaves Lydia shook. Basically after that Lydia loses her virginity to Stan.
• Stanley loves how out going /rebellious Lydia is, In fact he finds it quite hot.
• Stanley obviously has a crush on her, but would never admit it, in fear he could ruin their friendship.
• Stan finds out Lydia is moving from her little brother Benji. Stan is rightfully pissed (as are the other losers.) and confronts her about it. She tries to explain herself but Stan tells her how he feels and how un fair that was.
• Lydia's class mates (including her brother, Parker. ) believed she was a "whore." They believed she would have sex with any person who asked. Which in reality she just made out with a lot of people, including Richie Tozier. (which he wouldn't shut up about.)
• Richie has a huge crush on Lydia. While they're making Out Richie slips and says "Lydia, I love you." Which obviously freaks her out, because she doesn't see him like that, she only sees him as a late night "hook up."
• Lydia has a crush on Stan and doesn't realize until the night they hook up.
• Lydia lives in the shadow of her brother, Parker. Her parents seem to constantly compare the two. This obviously puts a damper on her self esteem and is a reason she acts out and is "rebellious." • Lydia has a great sibling relationship with Benji, but her relationship with Parker is incredibly rocky. He tries to control her and tell her how she could be better if she tried, etc etc. (feel free to add on to this.)
• Totally random but Lydia can't ride a bike. She always rides on the handle bars of Stanley's.
