Jimin's body shook. The piercing pain that he was going through, both mentally and physically, was taking its toll. Jimin took short, fast breaths. His breathing was out of control. He couldn't steady himself. The figure had been speaking, but he could barely hear. His eyes began to shut, and his breathing got heavier and heavier. Eventually, Jimin didn't fight anymore. He let his eyes close and felt himself drift away from consciousness.

"Oh, poor boy. He's made himself pass out." The figure said as he felt Jimin's seemingly lifeless body slip away from him and fall to the floor. He laughed a bit before lifting Jimin from the ground and carrying him up the stairs.

As the figure placed Jimin on a bed in the farthest room upstairs, he chuckled to himself. "Shouldn't have taken that dare, Jimin." He said, leaving the room and allowing the terrified boy to rest.

~~

Jimin woke up, his lungs burning slightly. He groaned in pain as he lifted his head ever so slowly. "Good morning, sunshine." Jimin swung his head around the room, searching for the source of the voice. "Over here." The voice said again, giving a light chuckle afterwards. Jimin turns his head every which way. He couldn't find whoever, or whatever, was talking to him.

"Did you enjoy your nap?" Jimin didn't answer. He felt sick, almost like he would pass out again. He was about to go down once more, but he heard footsteps approaching. The same figure appeared in the doorway of the small room that surrounded Jimin.

"What do you want with me? I said I'd leave you alone, what more do you want?" Jimin asked on the verge of tears. The figure said nothing. Jimin sat there, eyes locked with whoever this mysterious man was. "You poor, poor thing. You have no idea who I am, do you?"

Jimin shook as the man approached him. "Stay back. I'm warning you." He said, holding his hands up to protect himself. The man snickers, not fazing the boy at all. He's quick to pin Jimin's hands down and let out a deep growl.

Jimin broke.

He screamed. He kicked the man ruthlessly, desperately wanting to get out. "Let go!" He shouted over and over again. The man wasn't bothered in the slightest. In fact, he seemed to enjoy it. "That's right, scream. Cry. Fight. Do it all. I love seeing terror come through like this." He says.

Jimin felt the man lean closer to him. "Please, I don't want to die. Not now, please. Please..." Jimin cooed. The man snickered evilly at the young boy. "Don't worry, it won't be painful, boy." The man says, squeezing Jimin's arms so tight, they bleed.

Jimin cried as loud as he could. It was unbearable. He kicked more. Screamed more. Tears fell uncontrollably. He didn't want to die this way. He wasn't ready to die. But his fights only fueled this man.

As Jimin felt the pain grow more and more, a loud ring sounded through the house.

It was the doorbell.

The man stopped the pain flow to Jimin. He turned his head back towards the doorway. A muffled "Jimin?" Could be heard loudly through broken windows.

Jimin gasped at the voice. "Hobi?" He whispered to himself. The man left out a subtle coo and began to walk away from Jimin, blood covering his arms and hands. "No, wait! Leave him be!"
Jimin yelled.

The man stopped in place. "Keep your mouth shut, boy. You're on my property and belong to me. Do as you're told and maybe I'll stop the beautiful red that's flowing out from your veins."

Jimin's breath hitched. He lets out a soft whimper before closing his mouth. "Good boy. Now stay here." The man demanded.

"Just go in and get him!" Jungkook shouted. "I'm not going in there! You guys know about this place! I'm not in the mood to die right now!" Hoseok shouted back.

Jin sighed. "Hoseok, just go get him. It was your idea to bring him here in the first place." Hoseok rolled his eyes. "Fine. But if I die, you guys are staying away from the funeral."

Hoseok slowly opened the door to the supposedly haunted house. His eyes scan the interior, seeing every rip and tear. "I guess it's not so bad..." He says to himself. Slowly, he enters the residence and calls out. "Jimin? Come on, man. It's not funny anymore. Let's all just go home."

Hoseok looks around once more. There's no sign of Jimin anywhere. He turns back to face Jungkook and Jin. "Guys, I don't think he's here anymore." He says. Suddenly, Jungkook and Jin stare at him in horror. "What?" He questions.

"Hoseok. Whatever you do, do not move." Jin says. "What? Why? What's wrong?"

Hoseok continued to look at the boys' terrified faces. What was the reason for it?

Suddenly, Hoseok heard footsteps softly approaching him from behind. He froze in his spot, locking eyes with the two other boys. A low growl seeps from whatever was behind him.

"There's something behind me, isn't there?" Hoseok asks sheepishly. Jin and Jungkook both nod. Hoseok's bottom lip begins to quiver.

Suddenly, the front door slams shut, leaving Hoseok in a darkened room. He jumped at the sudden action, but remained frozen in his place. A soft hand placed itself on his shoulder. He turned his head to look at it ever so slowly.

His eyes lock with it, seeing the razor sharp nails and veins pulsate from within. He turned his head more, seeing only an inch of something behind him before shutting his eyes again.

The hand from before slides off of his shoulder and a few creaks come and go. Hoseok opens his eyes again and turns around, seeing nothing. He exhales sharply, sighing in relief and exhaustion. "I'm out." He says, turning around but only to be met with a terrifying sight.

He immediately loses his balance and falls to the floor, propping himself up on his elbows and backing away from the sight that appeared to be some type of deformed man.

"Why hello there."
