The Mistake That Changed Everything (Ereri Fanfic)

Eren and Levi were out walking in a park after Mikasa and Hanji left. They were holding hands, looking into each other's eyes, and ignored the disgusted looks from other people. Some people gave them "Awaww Cute".

There was even another gay couple there as well. There was this man who's face resembled a horse, and the man he was with had loads of freckles on his face. Eren and Levi smiled and waved to them and they waved back.

They thought this night was perfect. And it was.

"Hey, I want to show you something." Levi smiled, "Follow me."

Before eren could reply Levi ran, really fast actually. Eren had a hard to to keep up.

Levi jumped over a fence, and ran through a bush. Eren laughed at the short man struggling to get through the bush.

Eren caught up to Levi because he got stuck.

"Stop laughing brat!" Levi whined, "Help me get out of this!"

Eren was heaving. He was very worn out, "Let me catch my breath first! I never knew you could run like that!"

Eren unhooked Levi's jeans- still breathing hard- from the bush thorns, "Why....do you need...to get to the place you need to show... me so quickly?" Eren heaved.

"I don't want anyone to find out this place so I try to get there unseen. If they found out, it would be swarming with people." Levi stated.

Once Eren unhooked Levi, Levi ran again.

"Damnit! Wait for me!" Eren called and ran after his lover.

"Woah... this is amazing..." Eren stared up at a giant tree house. They ended up in the middle of the forest, "Why was this so important to you? A lot of other people would love this!"

"Well.. let me show you why this matters to me." Levi climbed up a ladder to get up the treehouse. Eren followed.

Eren saw something carved into the side of the house. It read "To Rivaille, from mom"

"My mom always said she would give me something...but I would have to find it. She was the only person who would call me Rivaille." Levi sighed, "There are probably other people who have this name, many many people, so this could be anyone's place, but I've never seen anyone signs that someone has been here before. My mom was always out too... Probably building this, and after her death, I felt like she never had to make this for me. If she didn't make this, we could have had a lot more time to spend together."

"Oh." Eren held Levi close, "Its okay."

Levi looked into Eren's eyes, which was looking back at him.

"I love you."

There lips touched into a small passionate kiss.

Everything was.... perfect.
