The Mistake That Changed Everything (Ereri Fanfic)

Levi? You okay?

Levi stared at Eren and Armin playing together. He felt... left out. Alone. Hated. Shot down... and no one came to help him. All his feelings suddenly came back from the day his mom died, his dad left him, everything went for good to bad. Just like right then. Levi shook his head.

"Nonsense.. that was years ago..." He mumbled under his breath.

But he couldn't keep his feeling under control.

"Um uh... may go get some water please?" He asked Armin.

"Of course!" Armin laughed.

Levi got up and walked into the kitchen. He was feeling nauseous, his head hurt like someone was banging a hammer into his brains.

He searched through a couple of cabinets to find a glass and filled it up with water. Levi took a long gulp of water and set the glass down. He started to walk back but he could. He fell.

Levi curled up into a ball and started shaking.

"No.... no p-p-please...." Levi choked out.

Tears started forming in his eyes and he softly cried.

Images went through his head about the car accident, all the bullies... his father loving him once but never again...

But why now? At the time he could be having fun with Eren and Armin... but he ended up like this.

"Hey, where did Levi go?" Eren asked Armin.

"He just went to get some water. But he should have been back around five minutes ago." Armin replied.

Eren suddenly ran over into the kitchen to see Levi in his pitiful little ball.

"Oh no..." Eren ran up to Levi to comfort him.

"Get away from me!!" Levi shouted and slapped him in the face.

Levi looked up at Eren's worried face.

Eren looked at Levi and hugged him.

Levi struggled but he felt too weak. He just let it happen.

Armin looked a bit worried, but more confused at what was all happening so quickly.

Eren kissed Levi on the forehead, "It's all going to be okay. How about you get some sleep."

Eren helped Levi stand up and walked him to bed. Levi didn't really say anything, but Eren seemed to be happy if Levi was okay. That's all that mattered to him.

(Oh yea forgot to tell you that they were sleeping over at Armin's house since he lived sort of far away.)
