"My my isn't it the one almighty Blake?" Haden asked my mate, voice laced with sarcasm , WAIT WHAT I HAVE A MATE!!!!!!!!!???? "Mine" he growls then grabs me from the position of me and Haden protectively."whoa" I muttered about to trip over I kept waiting for impact but it never came. Once I open my eyes I'm in his arms and sparks,are ignited on all and any skin contact with him. " I-I'm Rachael " I studered. Great. I studered. "Blake." He says confidently. Haden was glaring at him and he was definitely jealous. "Yoo-Hoo would you get your own girlfriend and stop hittin on mine?" Haden says as nicely as he can what's up with him to day ok yes he is my boyfriend sorry I didn't mention.
"We're mates you idiot." Blake spat at his face, "But Blake you remember me saying something about this like hey I made a promise with those people."

That's when it all clicked. When we were younger we were just like brothers and then when we were both 16 I shifted and he had no clue what I was, but about 2 weeks after I shifted he was turned into a vampire by some guy that apparently is a big deal and when we (my pack) found out what he is he said.........

"I'm leaving for good " Haden says to Kala (girlfriend at the time and a pack member) "Why? I can help you with this, we can help you." Kala begs pointing to me. When she said we. "No, Kala I'll hurt you and everyone else. Blake remember that I made a promise that when a certain girl turns 18 she either be mine or yours." With that he was gone.
End of flashback
"Wait how Did you,Um how old is she?" I asked "No,I'm sorry in about 2 years we'll find out who gets her, sorry Blake she's already my girlfriend." Haden spat back "SO TECHNICALLY I ALREADY WON!!!"Haden wispers in my ear. "Wait a minute you're dating a vampire?"
