CHAPTER SEVEN

I knocked on the front door to Seth's house and waited patiently. My dad sat in the car watching me from the driveway.

It took me forever to convince him to drop me off at Seth's house this late. And even now I could tell that he was a few seconds from coming and throwing me in the car and driving away.

I knocked on the door again and finally it swung open revealing a small girl in a fairy costume.

"Are you lost?" She asked me in her small adorable voice.

"Uhh no, I'm Seth's...classmate."

She cocked her eyebrows at my choice of words then laughed.

"Okay then Seth's classmate, you can come in."
She pushed the door wider and ran off deeper into the house.

I looked back at my dad a waved goodbye. I hesitantly walked into the house and closed the door behind me. I stood patiently and looked around the foyer.

There was baby pictures hanging on the walls. There were also pictures of kid birthdays. There was a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling. And couches against the walls on both sides.

The small girl came running down the stairs, careful not to fall as she did this.

"Seth is in the shower but you can play with me until he is done."

Without waiting for my answer she pulled me up stairs, we passed a couple of bedrooms until she opened, what I'm assuming is her bedroom, and she pulled me inside.

Her room was colored on different shades of pink and was designed in a princess theme.
"Wow." I looked over her collection of dolls and teddy bears.

"Mommy and daddy said I'm their little princess and said that I can get anything I want." She rocked her small frame side to side. She looked down and played with her fingers as if she was waiting for me to shame her room.

"I love it." I gave a reassuring smile which put a bright smile on her face.

"Do you want to have a tea party well Seth is bathing?"

"Ahh...of course." I said in a 'duh' tone.

She squealed and ran around her room getting this ready for the tea party. I laughed at her excitement, for someone who is very tiny she is such a firecracker.

When she got everything that she needed she pulled me to a chair to sit down. She placed biscuits on my plate and tea in my cup.

I frowned and looked down at the already made tea and delicious biscuits.

"I was planning on having a tea party." She blushed and looked down. Well she is a shy one.

I picked up my cup and lifted my pinky finger like a princess and held it out for her to toast with me.

"Shell we princess..." I just remembered that she didn't tell me her name, nor did I.

"Oh sorry. My name is Princess Ella."

"Well my name is Princess Dylan."

She giggled happily and gently tapped her cup to mine and drank her tea. Her fingers as well was extended like a princess.

"So are you Seth's new girlfriend?"

I chocked on my tea and slightly coughed to clear my airway. She looked at me with innocent eyes as she wait for my answer.

"No, I'm...no," I let out an uncomfortable laugh and cleared my throat. "I'm just his classmate."

"Oh I thought you where one of his girlfriends." She shrugged her shoulders and resumed drinking her tea.
