Draco Malfoy briskly walked down the hall to his next class. His platinum blonde hair was slicked back in its normal style and his piercing grey eyes stared intently at the ground. After the night before, the only thing that he could think about was Hermione. Her beautiful eyes, her hair, her laugh. It was so, well, strange and enticing.

FLASHBACK**

Draco walked into the party and all eyes immediately turned to him. He was wearing a black suit with a black shirt and a deep green tie. As he intently scanned the faces in the room, his eyes landed on HER. Hermione was standing there wearing a beautiful midnight blue dress with a silver belt. 'Wow...' Draco thought. 'She really is beautiful.' As he made his way across the room, he saw Ron standing next to her with his arm snaked around her waist. Draco walked up to Hermione, "May I have this dance Miss Granger?"

"Of course Mr. Malfoy," she said. At that moment, Draco had to stifle a laugh as he saw the expression on Ron's face. He looked like he was going to explode! 'That was priceless!' Draco thought to himself as he led Hermione onto the dance floor.

Hermione wrapped her arms around Draco's neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him. As they swayed back and fourth to the music, Hermione laid her head on his chest and hummed contentedly. "Draco?" she asked him,

"Yes Hermione?" he replied.

"I love you and I want to be with you! Forget Ron! I just want you, that's all I've ever wanted." Draco looked down at her surprised then he smiled.

"I love you too 'Mione, and I feel the same way. I have always loved you and I always will." He said. Then, she did something that he did not expect: She kissed him on the cheek.

All too soon, the dance was over and Draco had to return Hermione to Ron, because as Hermione put it, " I had to promise to dance with him for almost every dance." Though Draco was disappointed, he was happy because Hermione had told him that she loved him.

So as Draco walked down the halls that morning after the party, he kept replaying that scene in his mind over and over again until finally he got to class.
