"Y/n come on!" Lauren says
"No" I say with my back turned
"The water feels amazing" she says
"That's great" I say
"Fine" She says. "I'll put my bra back on"
"That's all I'm asking" I say

"Kris?" I say
"Marcos, if you were smart you'd leave me the duck alone" she says
"I get it but It's been 3 days and those corpses weren't them" I say
"That doesn't mean your off the hook asshole" she says
"What do you want from me?!" I say. "I didn't tip the fucking boat"
"You didn't pay for it either" she says

Y/n POV
"Squirmy little guy" Lauren says holding grabbing at a fish
"Eww" I laugh
"What he's cute" she says putting the fish towards my face
"Lauren Stop!" I laugh pushing her hand
"Oh shit" she says as the fish jumps out of her hands. She then jumps after it.
"Hey!" I laugh as she lands on me and we both falls into the water.
We were face to face, eyes to eyes, mouth to mouth.
"Oops" She says above me
I could see every freckle, every imperfection, every crease in her face.
I traveled her profile before halting at her eyes. They were deep, I could see every part of her. I knew she had green eyes but I never noticed how bright they were until right now.
"Whoa..." I say unconsciously
It felt like I could feel her soul. And for a moment I forgot everything Kristen lead me to believe she was. She was just real.
"...I think he got away" Lauren laughs
And as she smiled above me I couldn't help but smile back. Despite everything, she was happy and her happiness was contagious.
"Oh really?" I laugh pushing her off of me and splashing her in the face
"Hey!" She says splashing me back

"What's that?" I say as we walk back to our camp
"What's what?" She asks
"That" I say. "Why are those rocks positioned like that?"
"Oh.. I don't know" she says looking. "Were they like that before?"
"...We passed right by here right? I don't remember seeing that" I say
"...I'm sure it's nothing" she says trying to reassure me. "Let's hurry before it gets dark"
"Yeah.." I say
