Yesterday didn't go as planned,the village was destroyed by demons.It is too late for Luna,she was engulfed in flames the time we got to her.
"behind you" i said to Kuro
"what?" she said but i quickly swing my sword and split it into a half.
"we are not safe anymore" i said pondering on where should we go.
"Shiro" i said waving my hand
"where are the others?" I said
"Oliver and Violleta will be here in a minute,but...." he frowned
"what is it?" I said
"Nathalie might not make it" he said
"she left to defended the fortress on her own,and she...." Shiro stammered and struggled to speak "was killed"
"everyone" Violet said
"I've an announcement to make" Oliver shifted uncomfortably as Violet raise her wand to the sky.For a moment,something passed through the sky,it makes a faint outline of a butterfly.
It brought a spellbook towards Violetta.The air was so tensed that no one dared to break the silence.
"this can be the key we've been looking for" she gestured towards the book."this can't be" Kuro mumbled
"what do you mean?" I asked
None of them seem eager to tell me,so i looked into the book and skip through pages until....a scroll drop from the book.
"you don't have to" Oliver said looking guilty with sadness in his voice.Kuro looked as if she is ready to kill them in a blink of an eye.Shiro turned to me and hold my hand to reassures me.
I carefully undid the scroll,and put it on the ground for everyone to read."so i'm the one?" I said reffering to the scroll. "yes" Violet said blankly with no trace of remorse...
The scroll:
When the demons awaken to their full potential,a person will be chosen to defeat them with her companion.
But,beware of the consequence of this journey.
A sacrifice must be made to maintain the balance of this world,thus a mage with dark magic must be sacrificed.
To defeat those demonlike creatures,you will need a strong will heart and passion to protect this world.Failed and everything you love will be gone.

"are you crazy!" Kuro said
Shiro looked at me sadly,and turned to walk away from the scene.I stayed silent and looked down at my foot.I sighed "i'm doing it and that's final" i said fiercely.
