Paul (Cop Cousin): Wassup y/n, how you doing over here?
Y/n: I'm ight, Nicole still unconscious??
Paul (Cop Cousin): yeah, from what I taught you, how hard did you hit her??
Y/n: not hard enough to kill her but she'll be up in a couple minutes
Paul (Cop Cousin): that's my girl!!

Paul is one of my closet family members, he helped Jarred, Ethan and I get settled in LA and he's been there for us since. He was trained as a professional fighter before he started working as a cop so that's when I got all my fight techniques from.

Ethan: GET YOUR HANDS OF MY SISTER

I looked over Elom's shoulder to see Jarred and Ethan running towards Elom with anger written all over there faces. I look down to see that Elom and my fingers were still interlocked. but before they could try anything on Elom I quickly pulled Elom to the side and telling them that we were just friends and he was calming me down after what happened.
They instantly calmed down and death stared Elom. They both kissed my forehead and walked over to Paul to help with anything.

Elom: Was that your Brothers?
Y/n: yeah, sorry about them, they can be protective sometimes

Elom's POV

An hour has passed and it was getting dark fast. We were all in the same positions except Maggie, Brandon, Nick, Austin and Ansley went home. Half of the high schoolers went home and it was just Me, Y/n, Zion, Edwin and Tiah on one side, and those three girls with the three officers on the other.
Y/n's brothers went home and I was low key relived because they was scary as hell.
Zion: Ed and I are gonna go home, it's getting late
Y/n: ight, it was nice meeting you
Edwin: likewise, get Elom to give you our number so we can chill so day ight?
Elom: will do, btw are we still having the parting tonight?
Zion: depends what time you get home?
And y/n you are more than welcome to come along
Y/n: I'll think about it, depends on when I get to leave
Zion: okay, see y'alls later
Elom: see ya

Y/n: thank you again for staying with me, you really don't have to if you don't wa-
Elom: no don't say that, you'll be alone otherwise and I can't let that happen

We started into each others eyes for a long time and started getting closer

Elom: I really like you y/n, the second I had my eyes on you, I liked you, you are so beautiful and I wanna get to know you more
Y/n: I like you too Elom.
At this point our foreheads and noses were touching and we were looking into each others eyes, as soon as I was leaning in she stood up off of the cooler and held her hand out indicating some to grab it.
Elom: uhhh
Y/n: there is a ocean right there, were sitting alone in our swimsuits and no one is in the water so why can't we enjoy it.
I take her hand in mine and stand up.
Y/n: last one to the water is buying Edwin food.
She laughed and began running to the water, I slightly smirked running up behind her trying to beat her, but damn she was fast, I eventually beat her and threw her small body over my shoulder and began splashing the water. I slowly lowered her and she wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. My hands were holding onto her thighs and we were looking into each others eyes once again, I leaned in more and placed a kiss on her soft lips, her kiss was passionate and I didn't want to let go of her.
Our Kiss lasted about 30 seconds when we heard someone laughing hysterically and clapping, we both look to the right and see see y/n's cousin Paul. I put her down and hug her tightly, not letting her go for a second.
